Your pet's home away from home!
Our family is very familiar with many dog breeds through our friends and experience here on Rover; we will care for your furry friend in our home like they are our own ❤️ We have a labradoodle puppy (born March 24, 2026). He is friendly, playful, doesn't bark and loves to be outside. We are following the puppy vaccine schedule and also partaking in puppy training classes as a family and sending him to puppy socials too. Jen & Nick previously loved two furbabies (2008-2025) and growing up Jen had two dogs during her own childhood.

Jennifer, Nicholas and family were so good to Leo! They sent lots of updates and reached out often to share his journey. Leo was very well cared for and came home happy. I would recommend this family as sitters especially if your dog is a snuggler like Leo :)

Luna was reunited with his “other” family. Jennifer and her family have welcomed our fur baby into their home for the second time. We were always sent pictures of Luna to let us know how she was doing. She is always happy when she is there. Thanks for loving Luna when we have to leave her.❤️

Schedule
Nick is off to work earrrrly! Your pet will go for a morning walk with Jen before she's out the door to work (3-4 days/week). By the time Nick is home, your pet will have been home alone for 6.5 hours max. Some ball play in our batting cage with Nick and the kids or a neighbourbood walk will take place in the early afternoon. After dinner, a longer neighbourhood walk will take place. During the 1-2 days Jen works from home, your pet will go on an afternoon walk or run (depending on their ability). When we are not paying attention to our own puppy, we crate him. He has a 8-foot pen off his crate in our family room. Your dog is welcome to roam the house free if that is what they are used to. Our daughter's interactions with your pet will be supervised; hopefully, having children present will be a comfort to your pet. The girls are 13 and almost 11 and have been wonderful helpers to our family with our new pup.

Safety, trust & environment
Your dog will have free range of our main floor during the day. This is where all the action happens as it's our kitchen, dining room, living room, TV room and access to the backyard. Our yard is fully fenced too. Upstairs is where the bedrooms are located as well as a large hallway with a landing space. Depending on your dog's needs their bed/crate may be in the upstairs hallway, in my bedroom or downstairs in the TV room away from people. Our children's bedrooms will be off-limits (doors closed). We will discuss what will work best for your pet and accommodate that.
Pets
A typical day
After breakfast we will go for a neighbourbood walk. While Jen is working from home your pet is free to roam our home and either sleep or play with their toys. Jen will take the animal for a lunch time walk and if agreed upon by you in advance, we will go to the nearby off-leash dog park. When our kids are home from school they will happily play with your animal (under supervision) and as a family we will go for a walk after dinner. Of course this schedule is dependent on your dog's abilities and we will adjust as needed.
