Pet care experience
Zoo keeper turned pet care giver!
For over 18 years I have cared for dogs, cats, and a variety of exotic animals (large and small). I have 10 years of zoo keeping experience, 5 years as a wildlife rehabber, plus I also foster dogs for a local rescue. I have cared for dogs in my home, gone to others homes to care for cats/dogs, and I can also stop by for potty breaks/ walks. I am also able to give injections, eye/ear drops, and provide accurate medications.

Jennifer and Michael were great, sent lots of photos of our pet while we were away, they were very quick when communicating, I definitely recommend them.
Jennifer and Michael were absolutely incredible with my pup! I felt completely at ease knowing he was in such experienced and loving hands. Jennifer’s background caring for animals really shows and she made sure he received his allergy medication exactly as needed. They kept me updated with photos throughout his stay, which gave me peace of mind. Arson had an absolute blast at their home. He got to play with the other dogs and was loved on. He was treated like part of the family and made himself right at home. My pup came home completely exhausted from all the fun! I’m so grateful for the care they gave him and 100% will be using Jennifer and Michael again. I couldn’t recommend them enough!
Jennifer and Michael did an outstanding job taking care of Elise. They sent me pictures every day that she was in their care and kept me updated on her adjustment to my absence. This is my first experience using Rover and I'll never put Elise in a kennel again. It was obvious from her behavior when I picked her up that she was quite happy and was in no great hurry to leave. I am truly grateful for the wonderful care she received and hope that they would consider having Elise as their guest in the future. Thank you so much Jennifer and Michael!

Schedule
I work part time from home and a few hours each evening outside the home. When I am not here, my husband is and he has almost as much experience with dogs as I do.

Safety, trust & environment
I have 4 very friendly dogs of my own that love making new friends and playing. My backyard is fenced in and we have a dog door for up to 100lb dogs. Puppies stay in crates at night or when I am not home. Older dogs that are well behaved can be left to lounge on the couch or a dog bed.
Pets
A typical day
I love to take my dogs on walks to pet friendly stores within a mile of my house. They will also enjoy free play time in the fenced in backyard full of dog toys.
