Pet care experience

Paw Prints on My heart

I began my Rover Career in 2018 for the love of animals, exercise and flexibility. I've walked numerous dogs up to 5 miles a day; love it! I've also done many drop-in visits for dogs and cats. Ensuring their outside business is complete, feeding/watering and then loving them, as well as playing with them and their favorite toy. My Rover Cards feature numerous photos and detailed notes. I will work with your loved one and you to assure that you're content that the best care is given. I am immensely attentive, patient and value life. I have had dogs and cats my entire life; different breeds, sizes and temperaments. My dogs and cat are loved, happy, healthy, vaccinated, clean and groomed regularly. I am acutely sensitive to dog and cat behaviors and needs. Intuitively knowing my animals and clients well, keeps me alert and responsive for any mannerisms that might indicate illness or behavioral issues. General health: I've administered oral, eye & ear meds as well as ear cleaning. I love being outdoors. I am organized, punctual and responsible. As a full-time homemaker/manager, my love for all animals is absolute.

Pets

Safety, trust & environment

In my client's homes, we discuss the routine, times, needs and concerns the parents have for their pets. If they have a disabled pet, then I asked to be trained by them to ensure the best quality care is given. If there is a need that I see that can help the pet and parent, I discuss with the parent to understand if there is a willingness for me to go that extra mile. I respect others, pets and property. If you need a little extra help while I'm at your home, like taking the trash out; I will gladly help.

Jennifer is awesome! She took the time to learn my dog’s likes and dislikes, communicated about the visit and sent photos! 100% recommend if you need any help with your dog!

Jennifer has done an awesome job with Rayne. We get thorough updates and pics so we can see how much fun our pup is having. She even takes her for walks in addition to play time. So happy we found a great pet sitter.

Jennifer is very caring, professional and goes out of her way to care for our skittish Rosie. She has a lot of patience and willingness to find creative ways to help Rosie deal with her anxiety about strangers. Thank you!

I enjoy animals, as they are a big and daily part of my home life. Helping others with their pet needs gives me great satisfaction in loving and caring for another being. Pet care fits with my routine easily since I am the author of my story.

***I do require that your pup be leash trained for their safety and mine. If they have any aggressive behaviors with humans or other animals and how to calm them. What they fear (like fireworks, other dogs...) If they try to chase wild animals like squirrels, etc... How they like to be handled and their favorite scratching spots. If they have certain allergies to food, treats or outdoors. What their favorite toy is, their hiding place and bed in the house. Trained (leash, potty, commands). Where their food, bowls, treats, leashes and harnesses are located. In what rooms they are and are not allowed. Their special needs. With cats, it's generally a bit different since some are aloof. I will pet and scratch their necks if allowed. I will help maintain the kitty litter. If they are aggressive, I need to know and again their special areas where they feel safe. Some cats like treats, if that's the case, I will feed them their extra bit of happiness.
Each sitter joining Rover needs to pass a background check. And by booking on Rover, you can get photo & message updates, 24/7 support, and reimbursement for eligible vet care.
