Lifelong Animal Lover
Animals have been a part of my life since I was 10 years old. Growing up, I cared for goats and helped look after chickens, pigs, dogs, and cats, giving me experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and personalities. In high school, I completed a co-op placement at a veterinary clinic, where I was later hired. This experience gave me hands-on knowledge of animal handling, health monitoring, and recognizing when something may not be right. I’m also the proud owner of Romeo, my 10-year-old rescued American Staffordshire Terrier. Caring for a senior dog has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, exercise, enrichment, and understanding each pet’s individual needs. In addition to my animal experience, I have a background as a Personal Support Worker, which strengthened my reliability, attention to detail, and compassionate approach to caregiving. As the oldest of 10 siblings, responsibility and caring for others have always been a natural part of who I am. Whether your pet needs daily walks, drop-in visits, overnight care, or companionship while you’re away, I’ll treat them like family. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free experience so you can feel confident knowing your pet is in caring, capable hands.

Schedule
I work from home, which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, companionship, and regular potty breaks throughout the day. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate walks, feeding routines, playtime, medications, and cuddle sessions while keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos throughout their stay.

My home is a spacious basement suite with large windows that bring in lots of natural light, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment. There are 10 stairs leading down to my space, so I always take extra care with pets who may need assistance or supervision on stairs. I share my home with my dog, Romeo, who is friendly and used to being around other pets. I always prioritize safe, positive introductions and make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure. My flexible schedule allows me to maintain your pet’s routine with walks, feeding, playtime, medications, and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to keep their routine as consistent as possible in their familiar environment. I respect your space and follow all instructions closely to ensure your pet feels safe and stress-free.

A typical day
Your dog will enjoy plenty of exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention while in my care. We have a couple of dog parks nearby, along with countless walking trails for daily adventures. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing fetch, chewing on their favorite bones, or simply relaxing with company, I’ll tailor our routine to their personality and energy level. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, happy, loved, and right at home while you’re away.
