🐶 Building relationships and trust with dogs is the best part of this work. And it's something I have found I am naturally well suited for. Be it one-off visits or long term care, I like to take time to meet the pups, the family, and get to know routine. 🐾 Depending on your pup's needs, we will walk, run, play and maybe even swim! We can stay near your home, visit local parks and nearby neighborhood paths, and we can even find local hiking trails and swimming holes! 🏡 I do a lot of overnights with dogs and cats. It's a part of my own lifestyle and brings me a lot of joy to step into the life of a happy pet. I'll want all the details on the daily routine, the quirks and the uniqueness of your loved one(s). Overnight pet parents will be asked to fill out a separate in-take form that easily collects all relevant details. This is a great resource for me to make my time with your pets as smooth as can be. I work to get into the flow of your routine in order to keep as much "normal" as possible. Working to keep your time away as stress-free as possible is the ultimate goal. 😻 If there are cats in the picture, yay! I love love love cats. And I appreciate getting to know the unique personality and likes/dislikes of each cat I get to hang out with. 🌿 And, when I'm at your home - I treat it like my own and leave it better than I found it. A Leave No Trace mentality.

What is your pet's daily routine? General health condition and any specific needs related to health What are the conditions that are best for your pal? Do you have specific training protocols already in place? How much activity does your pal need or want? Is there anything to be aware of as behavioral triggers for your pal? What sets them off? What keeps them calm? Tick/flea protection? Have you taken the precautions needed to keep them safe? How is your dog on a leash? I am a firm believer in dogs on leashes for the sake of everyone's safety.
A typical day
🦮 A walk can be great exercise for us humans... but some of our canine friends need more activity in order to feel cool calm and chilled out at home. Usually my visits include playtime, practicing basic leash manners, going for a medium long walkie (I lovingly refer to them as “sniffaris”), snuggles and love. 🏡 FOR OVERNIGHT VISITS: My fee secures me in your home from about 8pm-7am which usually covers both the overnight and the morning routine/breakfast.
