I have a flexible schedule and have 2 cats that keep each other company so they are cool with me spending time away to care for other pets. (for the most part… they do miss me, but are forgiving) :) I am self-employed doing cleaning, organizing gigs, and pet sitting hence the flexibility.

I am always watching for other dogs on a walk and walk in the other way or cross a street, if needed, to prevent an altercation. I am also watchful if a pet is scratching an area, licking paws too much, shaking their head(ears), etc….acting differently in any way and immediately contact the owner. I always give them lots of love, attention and playtime☺️

A typical day
When I am dog sitting, I am always playing with them. They are like a new toy to me as I am to them. One of the owners commented that when they got home, their dog was a lazy bum and said we must have had a lot of fun as this was unusual compared to past sitters. I’m also interested in the psychology dogs and what makes them tick..figure them out. It’s just in my nature to remedy any situation… Not just with animals, but in everyday life.

I don’t have many reviews on this app because of a lot of my work has been referrals and the fact that I am self-employed now, doing cleaning/organizing services so that produced more pet sitting clients. I have room for more and can furnish references if needed. I just love animals and love to help people who need their animals taken care of when they are away! I happily live by myself, so this is a service that I can provide that many cannot. (yes, I’m one of those who would rather be around animals than most people! lol!). I also have 5+ years exp. volunteering at shelters so I have learned a lot more than I already knew regarding behavior and health needs. I’ve been referred from past dog sitting clients who told me that they felt at ease leaving them in my care. Animals are like family to me and I go out of my way at times to make sure they are comfortable and happy.

Jennifer was absolutely amazing! From the meet and greet to the day we left, she was always providing us with detailed information about Ollie. It’s clear she truly loves dogs and that whoever she is watching will be in great hands. We will 100% be using her again! She was one of the best sitters we’ve ever had!
Upon meeting Jennifer, she immediately becomes family; she just has that vibe and she treats your pets like royalty. They just know she is an animal lover! She makes sure that she has down all their routines and likes/dislikes. I felt so confident leaving them with her and knowing everything was in the best of hands. When I returned, they were calm, so I knew they’d been well cared for and in addition, she left our condo immaculate, pretty sure it didn’t look this good when I left. My pets are somewhat high maintenance and she really did a fantastic job!
Jennifer was very accommodating! Came to meet our fur baby prior to scheduled appointments so that our cat could feel comfortable with her. She administered intradermal medication that Uli needed for her hyperthyroidism. Would recommend and will use her in the future!
