Holistic care for animals
My family has owned dogs my entire life, including Maremma, Border Collie, Dachshund, Golden Retriever, English Bulldog, Labrador, Poodle, Chihuahua, Beagle, Boxer, Pitbull, and Doberman. I grew up half of my life on a farm with every kind of animal and have always had a patient, loving relationship with all animals. We had several cats too. I talk with animals and care about their sense of well-being, comfort, and joy. I have experience with special needs purebreds and geriatric pets. I worked for a year at the NY Dog Spa & Hotel as a dog sitter and dog walker, having experience with specialty diets and breeds. I have been dog sitting at client's homes for over 10 years and enjoy the privilege every time. Through pet sitting I get to spend time with and care for others' companions, which is a blessing, as I am far from the fur babies in my life.

Safety, trust & environment
It’s important to know the behavior of each animal, prior to watching them. I pay attention to each pet, checking the safety of environment, what they are chewing on, their mood and any symptoms. It is important to be aware of the normal behaviors and actions of each pet and to watch for changes and be able to read on animal for stress and also to protect them in the right environment. This includes, depending on the fur and environment, checking for other critters.
Ratings and reviews
Jennifer was very conscientious. She was able to take my dog on two walks a day and gave attention to my cat and dog. She kept in contact with me and sent photos regularly to update me. The house was clean when I returned. She is very personable.
Jennifer was fabulous. Very, very communicative. Lots of pictures and videos. Jennifer is very friendly, kind, and very caring. I came home to a spotless home, healthy plants and happy dogs. Highly recommend Jennifer!!
