I’ve always loved animals, and caring for dogs is what I’m most passionate about. I’ve been caring for pets for over 22 years and have worked professionally as a dog walker and pet sitter for 7 years. Before moving to Nova Scotia, I ran my own pet care business in Vancouver, caring for many wonderful dogs and cats. I’ve since set up my pet care business here in Nova Scotia, and I’m looking forward to meeting more local pets through Rover as well. I like to learn about each pet’s personality, normal routine, and anything else that’s important for me to know. Their safety and comfort are my priority. I always arrange a Meet & Greet with new clients so we can go over everything, answer any questions, and make sure it feels like a good fit for everyone. I cannot recommend Jennifer's pet care quality highly enough. She is incredibly patient, gentle, attentive and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. On many occasions she has taken wonderful care of my senior cat, Piglet with the kindness and patience he needed. I’ve also seen how thoughtfully she supported rescue dogs, encouraging them to feel safe, comfortable and confident while making things fun and positive. Jennifer has a calm, reassuring approach and she really takes the time to understand each animal. I feel completely at ease knowing my pets are in her hands. I have a flexible schedule and offer pet care during the week and on weekends. I’m happy to work with your pet’s usual routine and needs.

Safety, trust & environment
I follow each pet’s normal routine and care instructions and provide a calm, comfortable home environment. I’m happy to accommodate raw or home-cooked diets and any special meal preparation. I use non-toxic, pet-safe cleaning products and provide filtered water. I always arrange a Meet & Greet beforehand to make sure it feels like a good fit for everyone.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day includes walks, playtime, lots of attention, and plenty of time to relax. There are cozy spots and dog beds for lounging and naps. We have beautiful walking trails nearby and the Bedford waterfront for dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring.
