I have 30+ years of experience training, grooming, and providing a high standard of care in the animal world. I have trained birds for production, stage shows, and free flight. I have worked with parrots, birds of prey, and exotics. I have trained service dogs, K9 dogs, taught puppy classes, basic obedience classes, and dogs for film, production, and stage shows. I can cater to anything you need from walking difficult dogs, boarding difficult dogs, teaching and enriching the bond between animal and human, enriching the daily lives of your pet, and so much more! I have been working with bird behaviors in the home for the past several years and can help transform unwanted pet bird behaviors into a happy and healthy feathered family member! Jennifer took very good care of my German shepherd.
Jennifer was great at letting the dogs warm up to her on their time. She kept us up to date our whole trip on how they were doing with our daily pupdates and pictures! Even when they got a little tummy trouble. She made our first time boarding outside our home a great experience

Schedule
I own a small business called Feather and Fur Academy. I devote my entire week to my passion: enriching the daily lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pet and human with training, reinforcement, and enrichment.

I live on a small 5 acre farm. We have been here since September 2023 and are still slowly setting up, but I have kennels available for boarding, plenty of land for training, a dog yard with a confidence course, pools and sprinklers for the water dogs, and an area in the back for bird flight training. We are still building and adding things as we grow.
Pets
A typical day
I provide not only physical activity but mental stimulation to challenge the mind AND body. Puzzle feeders, pool time, sprinklers for those water dogs, confidence courses, obedience courses, puppy training, and controlled doggy social hour (only on request).
