I have 30+ years of experience training, grooming, and providing a high standard of care in the animal world. I have trained birds for production, stage shows, and free flight. I have worked with parrots, birds of prey, and exotics. I have trained service dogs, K9 dogs, taught puppy classes, basic obedience classes, and dogs for film, production, and stage shows. I can cater to anything you need from walking difficult dogs, boarding difficult dogs, teaching and enriching the bond between animal and human, enriching the daily lives of your pet, and so much more! I have been working with bird behaviors in the home for the past several years and can help transform unwanted pet bird behaviors into a happy and healthy feathered family member! Jennifer did a great job with our pup, Lucca. I felt totally comfortable knowing Lucca was in a good place. There is lots of room to roam at Jennifer's, yet she keeps a close eye on the animals. Lucca had a nice big kennel crate to sleep in. We received daily updates and pictures of Lucca while we were gone. Lucca even wished me a Happy Mother's Day, lol. I especially liked that Jennifer was flexible with her schedule if we needed and extra few hours or a day. Her response time is excellent. There was no "waiting to hear back" so I was able to proceed with planning our trip in a timely manner. I would recommend Jennifer to anyone needing care for their pet(s). I own a small business called Feather and Fur Academy. I devote my entire week to my passion: enriching the daily lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pet and human with training, reinforcement, and enrichment.

I live on a small 5 acre farm. We have been here since September 2023 and are still slowly setting up, but I have kennels available for boarding, plenty of land for training, a dog yard with a confidence course, pools and sprinklers for the water dogs, and an area in the back for bird flight training. We are still building and adding things as we grow.

I provide not only physical activity but mental stimulation to challenge the mind AND body. Puzzle feeders, pool time, sprinklers for those water dogs, confidence courses, obedience courses, puppy training, and controlled doggy social hour (only on request).
