I have 30+ years of experience training, grooming, and providing a high standard of care in the animal world. I have trained birds for production, stage shows, and free flight. I have worked with parrots, birds of prey, and exotics. I have trained service dogs, K9 dogs, taught puppy classes, basic obedience classes, and dogs for film, production, and stage shows. I can cater to anything you need from walking difficult dogs, boarding difficult dogs, teaching and enriching the bond between animal and human, enriching the daily lives of your pet, and so much more! I have been working with bird behaviors in the home for the past several years and can help transform unwanted pet bird behaviors into a happy and healthy feathered family member! Truly the best place we could have left our dog! We got daily updates and photos and Rey looked like she was having the BEST time! We added on pickup and drop off and a bath so it was so convenient for us too! Rey can’t wait to go back!
Jennifer took EXCELLENT care of my reactive, high drive, high energy spaz. Mist is a working line Swiss Shepherd, & after being mauled by an off leash GSD, she's VERY selective when it comes to other dogs. Jennifer went above & beyond to answer my questions and concerns so that I felt confident my furbaby would be safe, & so would everyone else. Mist had an absolute blast! She sent sooo many cute pics & vids of my girl having fun, I loved it 🥰 I highly recommend Jennifer, *especially* if you demanding, high drive breed.
Ruger had a wonderful vacation with his new friends!! Jennifer was wonderful! Kind, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating for my anxious boy. Pics and video updates sent daily which helped ease my mind while we were out of town. I highly recommend Jennifer and will most definitely use her in the future! Thanks again!!

Schedule
I own a small business called Feather and Fur Academy. I devote my entire week to my passion: enriching the daily lives of animals and strengthening the bond between pet and human with training, reinforcement, and enrichment.

I live on a small 5 acre farm. We have been here since September 2023 and are still slowly setting up, but I have kennels available for boarding, plenty of land for training, a dog yard with a confidence course, pools and sprinklers for the water dogs, and an area in the back for bird flight training. We are still building and adding things as we grow.
Pets
A typical day
I provide not only physical activity but mental stimulation to challenge the mind AND body. Puzzle feeders, pool time, sprinklers for those water dogs, confidence courses, obedience courses, puppy training, and controlled doggy social hour (only on request).
