Jenn is very sweet and accommodating when we need to change our plans! Our Rosy adores her!!

Jennifer really helped out in a last minute pickle. I am a first time Rover user so I was very nervous about the situation. I won’t be using Jennifer again. My two dogs were alive and “well” when I picked them up - that is honestly the only reason I am giving 2 stars. *LONG READ* They have a yard for the dogs to run in which was good, but I believe the yard is shared between two trailers. Pictures I received had multiple other dogs around my dogs (which is fine because mine are good with other dogs, but it was always a new one in a new picture) so I am not sure how many other dogs were in the area. Note: when I showed up there were 0 outside so this didn’t raise any concerns at the moment. She mentions grooming in her ad and I asked if she would bathe them while they were there and I asked how much extra. There was no price given but she said she would. When I showed up to grab them, NEITHER dog was bathed and my lab was IN THEIR POND. So now I have a wet dog having to go into my car that is even more gross than when I dropped him off. This was totally unprofessional and a let down for sure. I packed enough food for their 2 night stay and I had 1 bag left for Grant and 2 left for Ella? I am not sure she was feeding them on a schedule with their normal food. So big red flag. Now the kicker, I received a picture of animal food bowls filled to the BRIM with food in the background. I mentioned that Ella is a little “fatty” and will probably eat all of that in one sitting. Same with Grant. This information is on their profile and everything about them eating fast and ALOT if it is available. She said they haven’t touched it. I thought this was weird but new place, maybe they don’t have an appetite. When I picked them up both their stomachs were SUPER extended. I spent ALL last night cleaning up their upset stomachs all over the garage, their kennels, even part of the carpet in my house. Their stomachs are SOOO upset. This leads me to believe that my dogs weren’t even watched. They both obviously ate TONS of food that wasn’t their own (hopefully nothing else as I have them on watch right now) but for her to respond and say “they haven’t touched it” leads me to believe that they weren’t even being taken care of. Add on all the other dogs that were in the home - needless to say I am not a happy customer with the situation. I thought it was going to be a well cared for Rover sitter but it seems the advertising of what they provide is inaccurate. I won’t be using Jennifer again if I ever decide to use Rover in another situation.
