I'm currently offering discounted rates while I build up my Rover profile and reviews without cutting corners on care and attention. I am not offering doggy day care or boarding at this time until my own puppies are fully trained. My focus is 100% individualized one-one-one care for your dog in their familiar environment.

Information Jennifer L. would like to know about your pet

Every pet is unique, and learning and meeting your dog before I visit is vitally important. This provides me the safest and most comfortable care possible. Before starting services I like to know about your pets routine, personality, energy level, and any special needs. This includes things like feeding schedules, medical concerns, or anything that may make your dog feel more at ease. This will allow me to maintain your dogs routine, reduce any stress or anxiety, reinforce house training and provide personalized attentive care. A meet and greet is a must so your dog and I can get familiar and I can ask important questions. This helps ensure a smooth experience and gives you peace of mind while you are away.

A typical day

During a typical drop in visit, I will arrive at the scheduled time to greet your dog calmy so they feel safe and relaxed, then take a moment to check their mood, energy level and overall well-being. I will follow your routine we discussed prior to the visit. Most drop-ins consist of a potty break, feeding and your dog's desired exercise and play. If your dog needs a walk, it will be safe, engaging and tailored to your dog's energy level. Before we head out I will make sure your dog is properly leashed and ready to go. I take a moment to check their comfort, equipment and overall mood before we go. Walks typically last 30 minutes, but you are welcome to book longer. The walk is based on your pets needs, whether that's a relaxed stroll, time to sniff, or a more energetic walk. I will focus on positive reinforcement for good manners while allowing appropriate exploration. I will watch closely for signs of fatigue, stress, or overheating and adjust the walk as needed,

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm A lifelong dog lover and dedicated pet parent who understands how important it is to find someone you truly trust with your dog! I currently have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, whom I am actively training, so I'm very comfortable with daily routines, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I also previously raised a Boxer-Catahoula Leopard Hound mix from puppyhood through his senior years, and he lived a happy life until about 16. That experience gave me hands on knowledge with energetic puppies, adult dogs and seniors who need a gentler approach. I treat every dog as if they were my own-with patience, attention, and care! I have experience with small, medium/large dogs, including puppies and seniors and I am comfortable reinforcing basic training and good leash manners.

Jennifer was great! She provided us updates and pictures of our Iggy for each visit. Her visits included some outside time as well as some indoor fetch, which he definitely loved! She even spent some extra time with him, which was so nice. Thank you so much for taking care of our pup!! 😊

I am happy to provide this reference for Jennifer as she applies to be a dog sitter. Jennifer is a beautiful person inside and out, and her love for animals is truly exceptional. I have seen firsthand the care and devotion she gave her dog throughout his senior years, showing remarkable patience, compassion, and attentiveness. Jennifer is now caring for two puppies and is doing a wonderful job training them with consistency, kindness, and confidence. Jennifer has a natural ability to care for both animals and people alike. She is responsible, gentle, and deeply empathetic, and I have no doubt she would treat every dog in her care as if it were her own. She would be a wonderful addition to your team, and I recommend her wholeheartedly. Sincerely, Deborah H.

Jennifer is amazing! She’s been taking care of my fish and plants for the past few years and I honestly couldn’t ask for anyone better. She’s super reliable, always on time, and makes sure everything is looked after perfectly. I never have to worry when I’m away. Jennifer is honest, responsible, and truly cares about what she does — I trust her completely!
