Loving Cat Care from an RN.
I’ve been caring for cats for over 20 years, including cats with both medical needs and behavioral challenges. That experience has taught me how to be patient, observant, and respectful of each cat’s unique personality and comfort level. I’m also a registered nurse with 10 years of nursing experience, and that medical background often transfers well when caring for cats with health issues. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, keeping up with medication routines, and noticing subtle changes that may need attention. Most of all, I genuinely love cats and know how important it is for pet parents to feel confident that their cat is being cared for with kindness, skill, and reliability.

I only provide care for cats in their own home, because cats are so sensitive to change and are usually happiest in the environment. I aim to bring a calm, steady presence that helps cats feel comfortable while keeping their routines as normal as possible. I’m experienced with cats who need extra support and am comfortable administering oral medications, inhaled medications like inhalers, and subcutaneous medications. I also really value all the little details cat parents know about their cats, whether it’s a favorite hiding spot, a specific feeding routine, or something that seems unusual to anyone else. Nothing is too weird, and I’m always happy to include those details in their care so they can feel as safe and comfortable as possible.

Schedule
I work a registered nurse schedule, so I’m very used to being organized, dependable, and managing my time well. Caring for animals fits naturally into my routine because it’s something I truly enjoy and find deeply grounding. Being around animals is good for the nervous system, and pet care feels like a meaningful, calming complement to my work in nursing. I value the chance to give pets attentive, compassionate care while also doing something that brings a sense of balance to my week.
