I have over 30 years of experience caring for dogs and currently provide house sitting for three different families while they are on vacation. I also have experience with overnight stays and understand the importance of keeping each pet’s routine consistent in their home environment. I have raised two puppies and have worked with a variety of breeds including pugs, Maltipoos, Goldendoodles, pit bulls, Golden Retrievers, and hound dogs. I enjoy taking dogs on long walks and can also provide runs for high-energy or active pets. I am comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. For safety reasons, I am not comfortable caring for dogs that have a history of untrained biting or aggression. My priority is always to provide safe, attentive, and loving care so pets feel secure and happy while their owners are away.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walks, medication (if needed), and any special care guidelines. I make sure pets always have fresh water, a clean environment, and plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I also keep the home tidy and respect the client’s space. I provide regular updates and photos so owners feel reassured while they are away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for in their own familiar environment.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I am a teacher, and I am currently on summer break, which gives me a very flexible schedule for pet care, including drop-ins, walks, and overnight stays. I am highly organized and reliable with my time, which allows me to consistently provide feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship based on each pet’s needs. I am also available on weekends and holidays. Caring for pets is something I truly enjoy, and I make sure each animal feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owner is away.

- Before sitting with a dog I would like to meet the dog first with its owner. Dogs feel more comfortable meeting someone for the first time with the owner present. Before sitting I would like to know if the dog has any health issues, people issues, and dog issues.
