Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I currently care for three dogs, two cats, a rabbit, a snake, and a blue tongue skink, so feeding, exercise, cleaning, and spending quality time with animals are part of every day. During the summer, I have a very flexible schedule as a teacher on break, which allows me to provide visits throughout the day, walks, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. During the school year, I continue offering pet care services, but I am unavailable during the school day while teaching. However, I am available before and after school, evenings, weekends, holidays, and for overnight stays. I enjoy staying active with my own dogs through activities like agility, scent work, Fast CAT, and dock diving, so caring for pets fits naturally into my lifestyle. I understand how important routines are for animals and will work to keep your pet's schedule as consistent as possible while you're away.

I believe pets are happiest when they can stay on their normal routine. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications, exercise, and household routines. I take time to get to know each pet's personality and comfort level so they feel safe and relaxed while their family is away. Safety is always a priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure, keep pets on leash during walks unless otherwise instructed in a safe enclosed area, and closely monitor their behavior and well-being. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets and have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, reptiles, and other small animals. I also know how important communication is for pet owners. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pets are being well cared for while you're away.
