Fun (Dog) Auntie
I've always loved animals, especially dogs! I have two amazing dogs who are very social and are used to other dogs and people. I have been dog sitting in our home for the last few years and have been loving it! It's great for them, enjoyable for me, and I am glad to help provide a loving "home away from home" while people are away on trips. My regulars refer to me as their dogs' "fun auntie" because all of our guests become one of the family!

We cant even begin to say how grateful we are for Jen! We don’t know what we would do without her. Her care and compassion for our two Jack Russels is more than any pet parent could hope for. It shows in the dogs excitement when they first see her, knowing they will get to hang out with “Miss Jen”! She is literally the best!
Jen is a fantastic dog sitter! She goes out of her way to accommodate your needs as well as your dog’s needs and is very flexible with her schedule. Jen treats our dogs as her own and it shows. They are always so excited to see her. Jen also takes time to give the dogs exercise and takes them around to a variety of dog parks to play. Our dogs and family love her!
There is no one I trust more to take care of my dogs. Every time I leave them with her, I walk away feeling so thankful that they won't be in a kennel all day, that they'll play and be socialized. When I drop my dogs off with her they are so excited and clearly love being with her! When the weather is nice, she takes them out on walks and to the dog park. I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Schedule
I am a full-time teacher. During the school year my schedule is more fixed, but my dogs and I always make time for walks and a trip the the park each day. My ideal weekend is staying at home with my dogs, so those would work great for us to take care of some extra pals! Also, my schedule is much more flexible in the summertime.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a small fenced yard we use for easy and safe bathroom access for the dogs. I own a home in a subdivision with safe streets for walking and we live very close to the dog park in Kenai. It's just my dogs and I at my house, so they are allowed on furniture and the bed. I have a "dog room" set up for my dogs when I leave for work to keep them safe and comfortable. They will have access to toys, a treat, and water when they are in the "dog room." I also have three large kennels available, if crating is necessary.

A typical day
We love the dog park! We usually make it there at least once a day. Walks in our neighborhood are very common, and we use treats traps and puzzles daily for a fun activity that also facilitates mental stimulation.
