Friendly Dog Walker and Pet Sitter!
I currently work from home for a family business, but I am looking to expand my own business and passion - taking care of animals! I worked for doggy daycares and boarding facilities for 3.5 years, ensuring the safety, happiness, and health of a wide variety of dog breeds and ages. I have administered medications, completed dog handling courses, and grooming training as well. This led me to groom professionally full-time for 2 years after college. I now prefer to do at-home bathing sessions and spend more time with pets one-on-one in a homey environment. In addition to dogs, I have taken care of fish, cats, amphibians, lizards, and birds. I have a 9 year old bunny of my own, so I am well-versed in rabbit care. Throughout high school, I volunteered at PetSmart taking care of the cats and at Diane's Pet Supplies, too, walking their dogs. These are all in addition to being my primary neighborhood dog-sitter/walker.

I would trust my dog with Jennifer anytime. Whether it’s a walk and meal or an overnight, I know she would take care of him as her own. she adheres to instructions with medications and supplements in a timely manner so I don’t have to worry if a dose is falling on a day when he’s with her. My dog loves hers and can’t get enough of her so I know she’s the right choice to take care of him.
Jay is unbelievable at caring for, handling and grooming dogs! Jay worked for my wife and I at our dog daycare, boarding, training and grooming business before we unfortunately had to sell it due to health issues I was experiencing. In that time Jay showed a strong passion for dogs and displayed the kindness, understanding of dog behaviour and body language as well as the patients required when caring for them. Jay was one of if not the best caregivers we employed while we owned the business and took it upon herself to learn how to and complete the training to become a fully certified groomer in addition to her training and experience as a caregiver. I highly recommend Jay for any service she you are looking to have her provide for you, whether it be walking or daycare, overnight care or full grooming of your dog. She is absolutely amazing!

Schedule
Pet sitting fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work remotely with a highly flexible schedule. This allows me to adjust my day around your pet’s needs—whether that means regular walks, consistent feeding times, play breaks, or simply being present for companionship. I’m able to provide frequent check-ins. For stays in my own house, because I’m home throughout the day, your pet will get plenty of attention, supervision, and interaction. My flexible schedule also allows me to closely follow your pet’s routine and provide consistent, attentive care to keep them comfortable and well cared for.

I’m committed to providing attentive, reliable care for every pet I look after. I’m happy to take your dog on walks, follow feeding instructions closely, and administer any medications as needed. When caring for your pet in your home, I make it a priority to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable, secure, and stress-free while you’re away. I also pay close attention to behavior and overall well-being, ensuring your pet stays happy, healthy, and at ease. If your dog is staying in my home, they’ll be treated just like my own. They’ll enjoy plenty of affection, attention, and enrichment throughout the day—including couch privileges, treats (as approved), and lots of cuddles. Because I work from home, your pet will have near-constant supervision and companionship, allowing me to closely monitor their safety, comfort, and health for a smooth and enjoyable stay!
A typical day
Dogs and I usually will do a 25-30 minute walk around the neighborhood and I always spend extra time before and after a walk administering lots of pets and greetings! When dog sitting, we will play with their favorite toys and receive lots of cuddles. I'm always happy to just chill with a pet too while I work!
