I started my pet care journey as a dog walker at age 9, and have found great joy in pet sitting over the years. I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages and personalities, and now specialize in in-home boarding where your pets are treated like part of our family. My home offers fenced acreage for safe, supervised running and play, along with structured walks and trail runs for those who need a little extra. After playtime, there’s always a warm bed, or a cozy spot on the couch, waiting for naps and snuggles. With degrees in Wildlife Biology and Zoology, I bring not only a deep love for animals but also a professional understanding of their behavior, needs, and well-being. Whether your pet is energetic and adventurous or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.

Our very active herding dog always loves spending time on Jennifer’s farm! While we’re away, we love seeing the pictures Jen sends of Oona playing fetch in their huge fenced-in yard and of the fun walk adventures they go on together. We never hesitate to book our overnight dog care for short and long trips with Jen! Oona always falls right back into our home routine after her stays which shows us she feels very relaxed while we’re away :) Thank you for taking such good care of our girl!

Schedule
I split my regular work schedule with 3 wfh days each week. We are an early rising family who enjoy spending time on our homestead.

Safety, trust & environment
We have several resident pets on the farm: 20 sheep, 2 mini donkeys, chickens and one beloved mutt. Our regular routine involves a 1 mi walk in the am and pm with lots of other opportunities throughout the day for supervised fresh air or playtime in one of our fenced 1 acre pastures. Safe and secure, a ball lovers paradise! I’m comfortable treating your pet as my own with specialized treatment or care as needed. We have 2 respectful preteen boys in the household so kid friendly dogs are an absolute must.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day begins at 6am with breakfast and a quick morning outside opportunity. We take a structured walk at 7am (1hr after breakfast) to make sure all pups have eliminated. Next it’s chill time until midday when we get outside again to stretch our legs with a romp or fetch in one of our large fenced areas. Dinner is usually served at 4 with another structured walk between 5-6. More snuggles on the couch or in front of the fire to follow with a final outside opportunity btwn 8-9pm. Some pups like to come along for car rides, beach trips or hikes!
