Over the past three years, my husband Joel and I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and ages, including puppies, senior dogs and dogs with disabilities.

We left our two year old lab with Jennifer and Joel during a family vacation at the end of summer. We were nervous going into it because we had never left her with someone we didn’t know. I shared this with Jennifer and Joel at the meet and greet and reminded them at drop off. They sent pics and videos every day, which really helped us to feel that our girl was also “on vacation” and having a great time with their two dogs. Thanks to you both for loving her while we were away!

I've known Jennifer for many years and know that she has a true affection for dogs (and cats). She currently has two dogs of her own and devotes a great deal of time and attention to them. I heartily recommend her as a responsible and loving caregiver. I know she will do her utmost to ensure that your dog is safe and happy during its stay at her home.

Schedule
My husband Joel is retired and can be home anytime for dog care. We love taking the dogs for walks and to the dog park (if you’re ok with the dog park). We also have two teenage sons to help out.

We have a fenced yard and two very friendly dogs, Kira and Calliope. We love having guest dogs, and the dogs always have a great time.

A typical day
We love to hang out in the back yard, toss the ball, play tug of war with the dogs. Barcroft park and Shirlington dog park are just the right distance away for a nice walk.
