I aim to be as flexible as possible. I currently volunteer a few hours a week on a Wednesday morning at my local cancer care centre. However, I would still be available before 9am & after 1pm on Wednesday. I would be able to work around most schedules & offer recurrent bookings if this is required.

Unfortunately as I have two cats I would not want to cause themselves or your pets stress by sitting in my own home. However, I am more than happy to attend daytime visits or overnight sitting in your home as well as walking services. I am a very organised & believe in safety for myself & your pet. Therefore I feel it’s really important that I offer clear & reliable communication. I would be happy to meet you & your pet before any walking services. For day &/or night sitting I would require to visit your home so all parties are comfortable moving forward. I have a PVG Disclose that I am happy to share.

A typical day
Come rain or shine I will not shy away from outdoor activity. I have my own car & I have been driving for 14years. I am not scared of mess so I don’t mind a wet & mucky pup in my car or have an issue washing & drying them after a fun day. Ayrshire & surrounding areas offer such beautiful location & I would love to have the company of your pet. If it’s indoor fun for your cat or dog that isn’t a problem we can still have lots of fun. I spoil my cats with all sorts of toys & love playing with them so playing indoors with your pet is perfect.

Pet care experience
From the age of 5yrs I have been surrounded by rescue cats in my parents home, over the years we had as many as 4 cats at one time. As soon as I had my own house I needed to have a pet to make it feel like home. I adopted Frank when he was 7 years old. He is my ginger baby who only has 3 legs but it doesn’t stop him! His accident happened before we adopted him. He is now 10 & he demands love & will chat away to you for hours. I then adopted Dexter (after the TV show) at 12 weeks old. He had a traumatic first few weeks after he was born & this made him VERY nervous around humans but after nearly a year of patience & going at his pace we have the most loving boy who loves cuddles & playing with you. I have been blessed to have grandparents who had dogs all through my childhood. We loved nothing more than going for long walks & me & my sister took turns who got to hold the lead. My partners family also have dogs & although I don’t own a dog this has made it clear we will be adopting a dog in the future. My fur babies are my world & I understand how important these pets are in our lives. I would show & treat your pets the same as I do my own. I have a full PVG Disclosure which I am happy to share with you.

Jennifer took great care of our young dog Woody while we were away for a week. From the moment we met her, it was clear how caring and experienced she is with dogs, and that gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Woody can be quite energetic and still very much a puppy with his naughtiness, but she handled him brilliantly and made sure he was both well exercised and well cuddled. He was thoroughly spoiled by her and we were supplied with regular photos and videos of what he was up to, which we absolutely loved receiving. It was so reassuring to see how happy and settled he was in her care. She kept us updated throughout the week and was always quick to respond to any messages. We came home to a very content, relaxed (and maybe slightly disappointed!) dog who had clearly had a wonderful time.
Jennifer was amazing, she exceeded our doggie love expectations. If our dogs could book her again I think they would. What a lovely person and the best judge of that is done by animals. Thank you Jennifer, it is great to know your are there for when we need you!
We can't thank Jennifer enough for the care and love she provided to Oscar during our recent holiday. He is nearly 16 years old and it can be very challenging looking after him when we go away. The minute we met Jennifer we felt at ease and trusted her right away in our home and with Oscar. She updated us regularly with photos and videos of him which helped us relax even more. Jennifer is 100% made for this job. We will definitely recommend her and rebook in the future (if she can put up with him again lol). Thank you so much again Jennifer, you are a star!
Jennifer was a fantastic catsitter while we were away! Communication was excellent throughout, with some lovely photos of the cats getting cuddles! We came home to well fed, unstressed cats which is always good! I would certainly recommend Jennifer - reliable, friendly and a real cat lover!
