This is especially important for safety. For example if your dog has some food aggression, or anxiety around new people or children, it is your responsibility to fully disclose that and let us know. If your pet has run away, or tends to want to leave a new environment due to anxiety or being nervous, please do advise us and we can talk about the best care and stay for your dog. We ask that your dog not be over 40 lbs, as the smaller breed pups are what we specialize in, and tend to get along best with other dogs of similar size. We want to discuss these points with you to provide the very best care we can and make sure your pet will have the best stay possible. We love our pets and children with our entire hearts and we will show you how we give the same care and respect to your furry friend.

Myself and my family are available during the week and on the weekends to care for your pet. We are open to long terms stays. We have had pups stay with us for over a month at a time. We treat them as our own, but they always rememeber you when you return! Our entire family is involved in the care and comfort of your furry friend. I keep my Rover.com calendar updated to view current availability. We can be flexible and questions and special requests are always welcomed.

Please do let me know if you have any special requests or requirements for your pet. We will work with you ahead of time to make sure they have a great comfortable stay. Safety is our first priority and we request that you disclose any specific behaviors or history for your dog as it relates to the safety of our family as well as yours. A meet and greet prior to your dog's visit is always welcocme!
A typical day
We enjoy taking our dogs on walks around our neighborhood. We live near Chirst Church on St. Simons Island and have plenty of roads, trails and beautiful grounds to explore. We have a fenced in yard for your pup to enjoy and alos are able to leash and exercise your pup. We enjoy playing fetch, throwing the frisbee and in the warmer months a little water fun. We do take our pups to the beach as often as we can and your pups are welcome to join us as well! Its a vacation for you and your furry friend as well!

Pet care experience
We love caring for your pets at our home on St. Simons Island! We have two small well behaved beagle/chi mix pups. They love when new friends come over to play! Both our dogs are rescue, and have been with us since we picked up from their foster moms at 8 weeks old. Our children, ages 14 wnd 12 have been around dogs their entire lives. They now get to share the responsibility and love, caring for the dogs we invite into our home. We moved to St. Simons Island, GA from Plainfield, IL in June 2022. We were involved with a rescue organization back in IL and have enjoyed opening our home to foster puppies! While they are a lot of work and care, and a great responsibility, the reward is much greater. We are able to calm and teach these new puppies to trust people and become well behaved and loyal additions to families with love to give. We look forward to hosting your dog(s) in our home so you can travel worry free. Our Island home will be a staycation for your pet as well! We also offer day care services and work with your pup on socializaton, take walks and play in the yard. We have plenty of comfortable indoor space to enjoy as well! We have a fully screened in outdoor porch and a fenced in yard to enjoy as well. We are able to leash your pups for exercise if needed, have plenty of toys to entertain them and keep their doggy minds busy! We keep our home very clean (Type-A mom here) and have lots of space for the pups to comfortably spend the day & night how they are use to at home. Your dog's safety as well as the safety and well being of our family is our absolute top priority. We promise to love and care for your dog as if they were our own. We love to take walks (we prefer non retractable leashes), throw the ball and frisbee in the yard, have down on the ground playtime, give snuggles, and cuddles and always do separate feedings. We can accommodate particular dietary needs and feeding schedules. We have extensive experience in administering daily medication as well. We respect the rules and training you have already put in place.

This is my first experience using ROVER. I feel blessed to have picked Jennifer. She is absolutely an AMAZING pet sitter and a genuinely a good person. My girls were so happy when I picked them up. I highly recommend her services and she will be my first go to person for my fur babies.

Jennifer and her family were really wonderful taking care of our dog Dexter. Dex is 15, blind, and deaf so having someone be sensitive to those needs was a great thing to have. We'd be happy to send Dexter to stay again.
