I’m Jenn, thanks for visiting my profile! I’ve been a dog mom for 8+ years, but caring for other people’s pets for double that. I have watched up to 6 dogs at a time in one household. I volunteer and have fostered through Brindle Buddies and Friends. My experiences with dog sitting and volunteering has exposed me to a variety of ages, stages, breeds and sizes! It’s always important to me that when caring for someone’s pets, I am honoring their usual rituals (training, feeding, etc), treating them with love and providing adequate play and exercise! My own dogs have equipped me in other ways as well having trained them both through local dog training facilities and needed to administer medication when needed. My first dog had several behavioral issues that needed constant attention. I am easy going, empathetic and honest.

I cannot say enough how happy we are to have met Jennifer. She was absolutely wonderful with our Luna, showing her so much love and care every single day. She kept us updated with great pictures daily, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. It was clear that she treated Luna like her own, and that meant the world to us. When we picked Luna up, she was not only happy but also healthy and relaxed, which says everything about the kind of care she received. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure Luna was comfortable and well taken care of, and we are so grateful for the dedication and kindness she showed. We would trust Jennifer with Luna again in a heartbeat and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and attentive. She truly exceeded all our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Kerry was a life saver at the last minute. She asked questions and I could tell she was invested in taking the best care of my pups. She sent pictures as soon as she arrived and judging by the pics and video she sent, they loved her right away. She updated me and I felt so at ease knowing she was there. So excited to have found a trustworthy sitter and cannot wait to book her again.
Jenn is nurturing with sentient beings and conscientious with living space. I know my pets feel welcomed by her as easily as they welcome her. She's a "dog person" by heart, obviously.
Jennifer is a caring, gentle and patient person. She has taken care of my now 11 year old lab mix many times who has hip problems and needs time and TLC. Jennifer is very empathetic to Mocha’s condition. I have never heard her raise her voice. Instead she communicates with my pup in a calming, soothing tone. When Mocha sees her, she immediately slinks to the floor and waits to get the love Jennifer shows. I have seen Jennifer’s interactions with her own dog as well as others. She will treat your fur baby no different!
Our beagle loves when Jennifer watches her. We think she has more fun with Jennifer than us! She takes her on walks, plays, fetch with her, and gives her lots of love. We love that Jennifer send us pictures while we’re away so it relieves the stress of leaving our dog behind. We would definitely recommend Jennifer to give your pets lots of love.
I could not be happier with Jennifer! She will love and take care of your pup as if it’s her own. I have an active border collie, Trout, who is very friendly but has her quirks and Jennifer makes sure to act accordingly and follow our suggestions. I’m sure if Trout could talk she’d rave about her too!

Schedule
I am a stay-at-home mom as well as a travel agent that works from home on my own accord. I also have access to childcare some days/times of the week which can open me up to fully devote my attention to your pet.

Safety, trust & environment
In home: I have a very large yard. My dog is contained using an invisible fence. When we host dogs (play dates or dog sitting), we use a 25+ ft tie out that is securely attached to a tree. The tie out creates an opportunity for safe, supervised play with my dog (55 lb mix, 2.5 y/o female), the ability to roam a decent amount of the yard to explore or go potty, or chill in the yard/on my deck. I also live across from a huge park with a track and several nature trails that gives me the opportunity to provide walks of varying distances. My house is two floors, with most of the living happening downstairs as upstairs we only use that space as a guest room and a fitness/gaming studio. My dog gets crated when we leave the house. If your dog is crate trained, this would be my preference for maximum safety and security but I am completely comfortable (if you are) with them having free roam or being isolated in one room; this is only for leaving the house. I would prefer for your dog to sleep where they usually sleep at home. Dog bed, in our bed, couch, crate, etc. In house, of course we will play however they like! Offering toys, bones, chasing games, etc. Whatever you're comfortable with and they enjoy. Clients' home: I will adhere to any requests and boundaries you make. I am comfortable to play, walk, feed, let out, etc.

A typical day
I love to go on walks! I live across from a huge park with many nature trails to walk through. I’m always down to throw a ball or play chase too. I love to provide intellectually stimulating games too when possible.
