With a lifetime passion for dogs and over 13 years of experience, looking after dogs isn’t just something I do, it’s what I love most. Every new dog I meet is a new best friend, and I strive to give owners complete peace of mind that their pet is in the very best of hands. I believe in offering a truly personalised experience, so I look after a maximum of two dogs at a time. I’m happy to consider solo bookings for dogs who prefer one-on-one care, just send me a message if that’s what you’re looking for. For households with multiple dogs, I can consider up to three dogs from the same home, so please get in touch for details. While in my company, your furry friend will be both mentally and physically fulfilled, so when they return to you, they’ll be a happy (and tired!) pup. I know every dog is different, so I welcome special requests and love hearing all about your pet to ensure they feel comfortable in their home away from home. Your dog’s happiness, comfort, and safety are always my top priorities—and I’ll treat them as if they were my own.

Our Miniature Schnauzer [Finn] stayed with Jennifer for 9 nights from 28 August to 6 September 2025 inclusive. As an 8-year-old dog who had only been bordered once before when he was much younger, we were a little apprehensive about how Finn would react during our absence. We needn't have worried as Finn took to Jennifer immediately [at the pre-meeting] and settled in well during his stay. Jennifer is both friendly & professional and someone who is clearly knowledgeable about dogs. We would have no qualms about placing Finn in Jennifer's care again and will do so I'm sure. We booked jennifer to look after our shih tzu gigi recently. She has had an amazing wee holiday and jennifer has been fab sending us regular updates and photos which allowed us to relax and enjoy our break away. Jennifer truly looks after your dog as if its her own and we will 100% continue to book her if we need to in the future.
I appreciated Jennifer requesting a Meet & Greet so that we could get to know one another before confirming the booking. Her calm manners, experience with dogs and helpful attitude all reassured me about leaving Digory with her. During our week away it was very hot (& then v wet!). Jennifer showed sensitivity to Digory's thick fur coat and walked him early morning and later evening. She kept in touch, sent regular photographs and looked after Digory well.
Jennifer was so helpful in all our communication and I appreciated that she wanted to meet up for a Meet & Greet before booking. Her experience with a wide range of dogs, calm & confident manner put me at ease about our active English Shepherd staying with her for a week. I checked all kinds of things with her before we went away, she was really helpful, I was even able to provide daily portions of food which Jennifer put in her freezer. Digory was there over both a very hot and very wet spell. Jennifer sent regular updates, sensibly walking Digory early morning and late evening in the heat. He was happy and settled with her, as his pictures testified.

I try my best to align my daily and weekly routine to best suit your pup. When a pet is with me they become part of my day. We will spend our lunchtime together out on a walk and in the evenings they can expect more walks and quality time.

Safety, trust & environment
I am PVG checked and fully insured. I treat every pet as my own when in my care. I have a secure fully fenced garden for them to run around in, even with a tree or two to sniff. They will have all their needs met and I will ensure to love them as much as you do.
A typical day
A typical day for us will be getting up when your dog is ready, going a morning walk. Chilling until lunchtime when we till take a shorter walk normally with a focus on sniffing to help tire them out. Then after work we will go our longest walk of the day, taking my time to give your pup the quality time they deserve. In the evening we will have dinner, and play or cuddle. Whatever your dog prefers 😊

- When looking to book in your pup I am looking to gain an understanding of how they are both in and outside the home. Within the home what does their day look like? Where do they sleep? Is there any behaviours both past and present I should be looking out for? How are they when left alone? Outside the home I want to understand how they interact with their environment. How are they with other dogs? How are they with other people? This helps me prepare myself and my home so I can facilitate appropriate care for them.
