I am a huge animal lover in general! I love them all! I am an avid dog lover and I have 3 years experience volunteering for a no kill shelter in NY. I love all breeds, especially all bully breeds, rottweilers, mastiffs, and boxers:) I had an English bulldog that I rescued at 7 years old who I loved dearly. I learned so much about dogs from my experience with her, specifically about bully breeds, and after she passed away I knew I wanted to dedicate time to volunteering with dogs. All of you bulldog and boxer owners out there don’t hesitate to contact me:) I have taken care of a lot of my friends and families dogs as well. To say I'm a dog lover is an understatement lol. My friends refer to me as the "dog lady" haha. Dogs are my life! I love to run, and I maintain a very active lifestyle, therefore I can care for high energy dogs that like to run outside. Living right next to Jones Point Park and Mount Vernon trails couldn't be more perfect for that. I love all dogs and I treat them like family! I am very excited about being part of the Rover community! After spending so much time volunteering with the animal shelter I really learned so much about different dog breeds, personalities, and training techniques. After my experience with the shelter I really fell in love with boxers and pit bulls and pretty much every big dog breed haha. I would go in the rain, sleet, snow and sun to make sure these dogs got the walks and runs they needed. I also helped volunteer at all of the local adoption events to help get these dogs adopted into their forever homes. I am still in touch with this shelter to this day. Rover appealed to me bc I'm not able to have a dog of my own at the moment, but it allows me to still be able to spend time with dogs and be able to care for them as my own. I am available for running appointments and walking 7 days a week, so if your dog needs to get some energy out I’m the one to call! I have met so many wonderful people and dogs since beginning my Rover journey, and I always look forward to meeting new Rover clients as well!

Jennifer is always the best! So reliable, trustworthy and easy to communicate with plus takes incredible care of my cat when I’m out of town. She is definitely my go-to!
Jennifer is the best and my #1 go-to when my cat needs checking in on while I am away. She is very communicative, sharing lots of photos with every check-in and showers my little guy with lots of love and attention. She even was flexible to extend her visits by a few days when I unexpectedly was out of town longer than anticipated. Jennifer didn’t miss a beat and is so easy to work with. Most importantly, I always come home to a happy kitty who has been well cared for!
Another amazing experience with Jennifer. My dog had some recent medical issues and Jennifer kept me updated all the time on how she was doing.
Jennifer was fantastic! Prior to her house sitting for me, we met for about an hour so she could get to know my dog and neighborhood. We also scheduled a 30 minute walk which went great. During the weekend Jennifer kept me updated and sent plenty of pics of my dogs. I was quite nervous about leaving my pittie with a sitter since he is dog reactive and can be a handful, but Jennifer was an absolute pro. She spoiled my pup, and I will definitely be using her again!
Just like all her other reviews say, Jennifer is amazing! She took great care of my girl and sent plenty of updates with pics.

A typical day
I always make sure my clients get plenty of time outside, either walking or playing. I have brought my clients on hikes in local parks, and on plenty of walks and runs through Jones Point Park. They also get lots of cuddle time and attention while in my care:)
