I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 7 years old, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of my life. I’m a real animal lover and enjoy spending time with them. I trained my two Cocker Spaniel puppies, Molly and Tara, and they were very much loved members of my family. Sadly, I lost them both in 2023, but my love for dogs has never gone away. I’m comfortable caring for dogs in all sorts of ways, whether that’s going for a lovely walk, having plenty of cuddles, giving them a bath or simply keeping them company. I want every dog in my care to feel happy, safe and looked after. I’m also lucky to have Sherrardswoods and fields nearby, which are perfect for getting out and about and giving dogs plenty of fresh air and exercise.

Jen was fantastic with my 13-year-old dog during his overnight stay! Caring for a senior dog requires extra peace of mind, and Jen delivered. She sent timely updates and great photos of him settling in comfortably, which completely put my mind at ease. I would definitely book with her again!

Schedule
I’m available Monday to Friday, as well as some weekends, to look after your doggy. My availability can vary, so please check my calendar or send me a message if you’d like to check a particular date.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a secure, fenced and gated back garden, with a small grass area outside the front of my house too. I’m just a short walk from the woods and fields which dogs absolutely love! I don’t currently have a dog of my own, which means that when your dog is with me, they get my full attention ❤️ I live on a quiet street with very little traffic and, unless you tell me otherwise, I will always keep your dog safely on their lead when we’re out.
A typical day
There are lovely woods and open fields just a few minutes from my home, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and exploring. I’m happy to tailor their walks and time with me around what they enjoy and what they’re used to. Some dogs love a good run and lots of exploring, while others are happier having a gentle wander followed by some cuddles at home. Whatever their personality, I’ll make sure they have a lovely time and plenty of attention while they’re with me 🐾

- Every dog is different, so I’d love to know as much as possible about your dog before their stay. Please let me know about their personality, likes and dislikes, routines, any special requirements or anything else you think I should know. Whether they’re nervous, energetic, very cuddly or just like doing their own thing, I’m happy to work around them. Their safety and happiness will always come first while they’re in my care.
