Leave your fur family in safe hands
I am currently on maternity leave until end of July 2026 and will be off of Rover until then. Hi there, my name is Jennifer and thats my husband Femi in the display pic. I have always loved animals my entire life and grew up with a German Shepherd in my home. I am that person when visiting friends gets excited to see their dogs and keeps getting distracted with petting and playing with them. In one of my jobs, I worked in an office with a King Shepherd named Rocket who I walked daily on lunch breaks (for 5 years) and will dog/cat sit for my sisters. I also had an amazing experience volunteering as a dog walker at the humane society in St Catharines during university and worked with dogs of all sizes and personalities. We understand how animals are family and would take great care of your pet in a loving, reliable, trusting, and fun way (lots of playing and activity). We send many pictures/videos/updates throughout their stay to make sure you can see how your dog is doing and for your comfort to know your pup is okay. We have been dog sitting on Rover for 3 years between when we lived in North York and Hamilton. It has been a life changing experience where we met amazing dogs and dog parents and even still keep in touch with a couple of the families from North York.

We are so grateful to have found Jennifer to take care of our pups! Our rescue dogs, although sometimes nervous in new environments, had a wonderful time and felt completely and at home during their stay. Jennifer is so accommodating, communicative (she shared photos and videos of the pups having a blast the entire time!) and our dogs absolutely love her. Jennifer and Femi took great care of our dog! We had great communication, videos of walks and pics throughout the day. They took care when our doodle lost his appetite in a new environment to ensure he ate well again. We recommend their excellent service.
I was super happy with the care Jennifer provided! So was Fred our dog. When I picked him up after several days it was clear he was a happy camper. Jennifer was very quick to respond to all my booking questions. She gave a clear picture of the kind of care she would provide. I appreciated the photo and news updates. I would definitely use her service in future.

I haven’t even picked up my dog yet, but I had to leave a review. Jennifer’s communication is amazing! I had a last minute concert in Toronto and didn’t want to leave my barley home alone. Jenifer took him last minute and sent me a lot of updates (videos) throughout the night and morning. She seems very genuine ❤️. You will not have to worry about a single thing if you choose her to watch your pup!

Schedule
I am WFH except I go into the office once a week but my work is flexible and my husband is hybrid so one of us will always be WFH.

Safety, trust & environment
Our place in Hamilton is a newly built semi-detached house so our backyard is currently unfenced but we have parks close by. Our backyard should be done later this year. We are very active with dogs and love to play and go for walks and send lots of updates, videos and pics.
A typical day
We typically do a morning walk and an evening walk and pee breaks throughout the day depending on the need of each dog. We love playing fetch, tug of war and spending time petting and cuddling the dogs we care for.

- Let me know your dogs needs in terms of feeding instructions and schedules, playing preferences and your expectations of how you want your dog cared for. It's also helpful to know anything to be watchful of such as they may lunge at food or not good with big dogs etc. The more communication the better for everyone!
