Dogs, rats, pigs oh my!
Hi, my name is Jennifer and I'm new to Rover but not to pet care! I have passionately been working in Animal Care, Welfare and Rescue for 12 years now, my entire adult life! I have a history of working in multiple doggy daycares with dog/cat boarding, animal shelters and pet sitting while also volunteering with pigs at a sanctuary, at the MDSPCA walking dogs, at my local Petco with the adoptable kitties, traportation for rescues and TNR work. Volunteering with animals is something I'm also extremely passionate about! I am skilled in nail trims, bathing/brushing, basic positive reinforcement training, medical/geriatric needs including handling medications, and I'm educated in dog and cat behavior. My pet sitting experience includes dogs, cats, bunnies and small animals such as rodents for the past 12 years. I have pet sat for family, personal friends and their families, and people I have randomly ended up befriending at dog parks, hiking or in the animal care jobs I've had! I love when animals and pets bring people together. I have grown up with dogs, cats, bunnies, rats, birds and even iguanas. My dream one day is to own my very own sanctuary/rescue on a farm. My beautiful family includes me, my wonderful husband Henry, our 2 dogs, Jewels and Dwight, and our 2 cats, Honey and Oreo Magic. I not only look forward to meeting your beloved pet, but you as well!

With my 12 years experience, passion and incredible attention to detail, I am confident I will be a good fit for you and your pet. I've spent years cleaning up some of the dirtiest kennels you could imagine but I love to clean in my general life so when it's for an animal, even better!

Jennifer took great care of Nymeria! She was on time and gave constant updates throughout the evening and the next morning. Nymeria was very calm and relaxed after our trip due to running around with her to make sure she got her energy out. Will definitely be booking again!
Jennifer was wonderful with Odin as always! She kept us updated throughout her stay, which gave us peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. We felt completely at ease knowing she was taking care of our boy!
Jen was truly amazing Atlas loved her and she gave constant updates. Responds in a very timely manner. Will be booking her again.

Jennifer took such great care of our babies! She sent photos and updates which reassured as a pet parent hating to be away. 100% would recommend if you want your fur babies being left in safe and trusting hands.
As someone who gets incredibly anxious when I leave my dogs, I cannot say enough good things about Jenn! She was communicative, responsive and kept us updated on the dogs’ daily routines. I really appreciated her flexibility and understanding with our schedule, times and our one dog still being a mischievous puppy with tummy issues. She allowed me to check-in and ask questions and was patient with me as well! So happy we found Jenn and know she treated our girls with love and care!

Schedule
I am opening my schedule full time for pet care services. I have decided it's time for a new journey and continue growing my animal care skills.

- I require your vets address and phone number in case of emergencies. I also require to know about any and all medical/physical needs they might need in their care, including allergies. Please make it aware if your pup has any behaviors like resource guarding, dog reactivity, etc; for my safety and your dog's as well! Don't worry I am educated and skilled on these topics, it's just important I'm aware of these needs your pup has beforehand!
