Pet care experience

Expert Pet Care | 25+ Yrs | MSc AS

From playful puppies to senior dogs, cats, and horses, caring for animals has been the heart of my life for over 25 years—truly, for as long as I can remember. With a Master’s degree in Animal Science and a lifelong farming background, I bring both deep education and real-world, hands-on experience to every animal in my care. I live just north of Bozeman on a little over five fully fenced acres, with a separate large fully fenced backyard, offering a safe, peaceful environment and a welcoming home. I share my life with my friendly schnorkie, Winnie the Pooch, who gets along beautifully with dogs and cats, along with two barn cats and three horses. I have extensive experience with medication administration, physical therapy, massage, and senior and special-needs care—my own dog recovered from a wheelchair to running again under my care. Animals have always trusted me instinctively, and I trust their judgment right back. I love my animals deeply and will care for yours with the same patience, respect, and genuine affection. 🐾

10/10! Fantastic! Treated my Benny as her own and even more. Made him special food to get my picky eater to thrive and he definitely did! Her entire family was fantastic, and you can tell she really cares for animals. In big measures and even small ones, with lots of cuddles for my needy baby. She even let him sleep next to side on the bed at night! Very safe and secure home with lots of love. Would absolutely rebook! Thank you!!!

Yuka can be a bit shy and distrusting of strangers, but she seemed to settle in with Jennifer easily and looked like she was genuinely enjoying her stay in all the photos we received. Jennifer did a great job!

Jennifer did a great job making my dog comfortable in a new place. She has a great outside place where he loves to spend time. The updates were great and reassuring We would take Colter to Jennifer again and will.

Jennifer was on top of communication and pictures! She takes your dogs comfortability seriously and makes sure before their first night with her they aren’t anxious or worried about their whereabouts. I appreciate her schedule to take Chester for multiple walks a day and also socialized him with other dogs in the neighborhood! I am weary of ever leaving my dog with anyone but Jennifer made me feel completely relaxed and assured that Chester was cared for and happy! He came back chipper and it was clear he had a great time! I definitely recommend!

Schedule

Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. I work from home full time, which allows me to be present and attentive throughout the day, with two 30-minute breaks, a full hour for lunch, and my workday ending by 5pm. Each morning at 7:15 am, after putting my kids on the bus, I take a peaceful one-mile walk on the quiet, dead-end road where I live—an ideal time for dogs who enjoy a calm, structured morning walk. Throughout the day, I’m able to provide regular potty breaks, playtime, feeding, training reinforcement, and meaningful one-on-one attention rather than long stretches alone. Every other weekend, when my children are with their father, my schedule is even more open—making it the perfect time to focus fully on caring for someone else’s precious animals. My dog, Winnie, happily lounges in my office while I work, and visiting pets are welcome to do the same, enjoying calm companionship and consistent supervision throughout the day. Your pet won’t just be “fit in”—they’ll be part of a thoughtful, steady routine filled with presence, care, and comfort. 🐾

Safety, trust & environment

Safety, trust, and comfort are the foundation of how I care for every pet. Pets in my care receive truly top-of-the-line attention—from daily walks, high-quality food, and multiple cozy beds to a large, fully fenced backyard where they can safely run and play. Inside, they’re welcomed into a calm, loving home filled with affection, routine, and plenty of cuddles (including snuggling in bed, if that’s what they’re used to). I’m thoughtful and intentional about creating a secure, stress-free environment where pets feel relaxed and loved, just as they do at home. Anyone who knows me will tell you my animals are my world, right alongside my children, and I care for every pet entrusted to me with the same devotion, respect, and genuine love as my own. 🐾💛

Pets

A typical day

We start everyday off with a 1 mile walk down the dead end road and back that i live on. During the work week, I work from home, so the dogs will have a potty break and play break for 30 minutes in the morning, an hour for lunch and also 30 minutes mid afternoon. This happens in the large fully fenced backyard. If everyone has lots of energy, we will usually head down the road again for another walk before dinner and snuggles and bed time.
