Hi! I’m Jen and I am a huge animal lover. I am so excited to help take care of your pets and I promise to treat them as if they were my own. I have owned pets most of my life. I grew up with two wonderfully adorable and loving dogs, Carter (why yes of course after Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys 🤗) a Cocker Spaniel and Calli a Maltese. They were such a huge part of the family and went everywhere with us! We loved them both so deeply and were so blessed to have them in our lives and to know we were the lucky ones they chose to be their family. Our Maltese, Calli, was diagnosed with Diabetes early one and we gave her insulin twice daily after her meals. I, along with my family, were trained by the vet to do. Sadly, they passed away, Carter in 2013 and Calli in 2015. I have not been able to bring myself to get another dog since, as the goodbye is so incredibly hard. My mother passed away suddenly in 2022 and this job found me and fell into my lap the following year and it has been such an incredible blessing in my life. This job has brought such joy into my everyday. The bonds I have been able to build, not only with the pets but also with their wonderfully kind owners, has been sensational. I have been so lucky to meet amazing people since starting this job and have been extra lucky to call many dear friends now as well. It makes me so incredibly proud and happy to know I can put my clients at ease and make them feel extremely comfortable knowing they are leaving their beloved pets with me in my care. I take so much pride in my work and knowing I have brought a true comfort to someone knowing their pet is getting the 2nd best care possible (because theirs will always be the best 🤗) makes me immensely happy. Please consider me to be there for your pets when you can't be :)
