I currently do not offer care in my home, but I am happy to care for your pet(s) on their home turf following your guidelines. Think of me as your surrogate. I focus on safety first. Depending on your needs and requests, I offer on-leash walks in the neighborhood, indoor or outdoor off-leash play (at your fenced in yard with your toys) in all weather, feed your pet, refresh water bowls, scoop litter boxes, and provide relief opportunities. An overnight service includes dinner preparation, exercise, play and TLC.

It is important to let me know if there is anything, such as neighborhood people or pets, noises, etc. that triggers a reaction. I also need to know if your pet has ever bitten anyone and the circumstances that prompted this. I prefer to use a prong collar on dogs that pull.
A typical day
We could explore the neighborhood, taking time to inspect the environment, walk in the woods, bog or beach. I want to keep your dog engaged and happy. I want that tail wagging!

Pet care experience
I am new to Rover but have been working professionally as a part-time dog walker and pet sitter (cats and dogs) for a top-rate company for the last year and a half. I love it! Additionally, I am the proud owner of two German shepherds and have had shepherds continuously since 2007, including a retired police dog. Our current shepherds, Fritz and Petra, train in obedience, tracking and protection. While I do not offer dog training, you might be interested to know that my own dog is trained daily. I am familiar with English, German, and hand signal commands. Cats: I was brought up with Siamese cats and had a series of Siamese until recently. I also care for cats as a pet sitter. I am well versed in cats’ needs.
