Pet care experience

Your Pet's New Bestie for Restie

🌟 What Sets Me Apart: Attentive, Heat-Conscious Care & Pug-Approved HospitalityMy pet care experience is rooted deeply in the daily love and specialized care I provide for my own beloved pug, Benito, who is turning four this October! Raising a flat-faced breed in Fresno has given me critical, hands-on experience in keeping dogs safe, happy, and healthy. Flat-Faced & Heat-Sensitive Care: I am highly experienced in monitoring breathing, energy levels, and heat exhaustion. Bilingual & Smart Communication: Benito is fully bilingual, understanding commands in both English and Spanish! Food-Motivated Positive Reinforcement: Benito is highly food-motivated and loves his tricks. I excel at using pet-safe treats, positive praise, and structured rewards to keep guest dogs feeling confident, comfortable, and motivated in my home. A Built-In Best Friend: Benito is incredibly friendly and welcoming. He provides a calm, low-stress environment for guest dogs who need a gentle companion to lounge with while I study.

Jennifer is one of the most reliable pet sitters I've worked with. She always shows up exactly when she says she will, whether it's for a scheduled walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay. I've never had to worry about a missed check-in or a late arrival, she's consistent every single time. That kind of dependability makes a huge difference when you're trusting someone with your pet's care, especially when you're away and can't check in yourself. I'd recommend Jennifer to anyone who wants a sitter they can count on without question.

Jennifer is a great sitter for pets. I've had nothing but great experiences with her over the years. She's taken care of my pug, Clifford, through every stage of his life, from an energetic puppy to now as a senior dog. Watching someone care for your pet across that many life stages really shows their commitment, and Jennifer has always been attentive to whatever Clifford needed at each point, whether that meant keeping up with a rambunctious puppy or being extra gentle and patient with him now that he's older. I trust her completely with Clifford and would recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter who genuinely cares.

Schedule

📅 How Pet Care Fits Into My RoutineBecause I study from home full-time, my schedule is incredibly stable, flexible, and entirely open for pet care! Your furry friend will never be left alone for long periods and will receive constant companionship throughout the day. My routine revolves around my own pug, Benito, and keeping him safe from the intense Fresno summer heat. Your pet will seamlessly join our daily routine: Morning Exercise: We wake up early to catch the coolest part of the day, heading out for morning walks before the pavement heats up. Daytime Study Buddies: During the scorching mid-day hours, your dog will relax inside a fully air-conditioned home with Benito and me. They can lounge on the cool floors right next to my desk while I study. Evening Wind-Down: Once the sun goes down and temperatures dip, we head out for final evening walks and backyard potty breaks before settling in for a quiet night.

A typical day

🌅 Early Morning (6:30 AM – 8:00 AM): Cool ExerciseWe start the day early before the Central Valley pavement heats up. We’ll head out for a quick morning walk on shaded grass lines to stretch our legs safely. I always check the pavement with the back of my hand first—if it is too hot for me, it is too hot for their paws! ☀️ Mid-Day (11:00 AM – 3:00 PM): Indoor Air-Conditioned FunDuring the hottest peak hours, we stay strictly inside my fully air-conditioned home. Frozen Treat Time: I make homemade, pet-safe frozen treats using ice cubes, low-sodium broth, or a bit of peanut butter for them to lick and enjoy. Towel Foraging: I roll up standard kibble or treats inside a bath towel so dogs can use their noses to unroll it—a great, calming way to burn mental energy! Gentle Play & Cuddles: We enjoy indoor games of fetch down the hallway, gentle tug-of-war, and plenty of couch cuddles. 🌙 Evening (7:00 PM – 9:00 PM): Winding DownOnce the sun goes down and temperatures dip, we’ll do final backyard potty breaks, followed by dinner and a relaxing, quiet evening wind-down inside.
