We love dogs and dogs love it here!
I've had dogs since I was a teenager. I love training, walking and playing with them. I volunteered for a dog shelter for several years and have experience with different breeds. Our home is very pet friendly and our kids are responsible and very loving with animals.

Jennifer and her family were great with Rylee as usual! I used Jennifer’s service of same day “doggy day care”. I have had my dog Rylee boarded several times in the past with Jennifer and me and my family are always at ease knowing she is in awesome hands with Jennifer and her family! If we are on “va-cay” we always look forward with anticipation for a daily report from Jennifer and pics of our little girl golden retriever Rylee! Totally recommend Jennifer !
Jennifer did a wonderful job caring for our Golden Retriever in her home! She was professional, kind and caring, with us (dog parents) and our dog! Jennifer provided text updates and pictures which we LOVED and appreciated! Jennifer and her family took excellent care, feeding and supervision of our Kea, and I would highly recommend her care for other dogs!

Schedule
I'm home with our children, so I'm available to take care of our pets all the time. Our kids are both school age, so they spend their days at school. After walking them to school, I take our friendly and goofy golden retriever puppy for a walk. We work on training throughout the day as it fits in naturally. He has to sit for his food, wait to be welcomed through door ways, we work on not picking things up on walks and sitting, laying down and staying. We don't have a rigid routine- more like a rhythm to our day. He's familiar with it, and likes knowing what's coming next. He's far from perfect, but he's a total joy!

I will talk carefully with the dog's family so I know what their routine is, and figure out beforehand how to fit that into our family's routine. Our schedule has flexibility, so making adjustments so boarding animals feel comfortable will be possible!

A typical day
We live in a great neighborhood with lots of fun places to explore. We love our walks, long rounds of fetch and tug and chase in the backyard and training practice for all those important doggie basics!
