Jennifer and Matt are looking to welcome your family member into our caring home. Jennifer has over 7 years experience as a Veterinarian Technician. She also owned her own dog walking/pet sitting service. Jennifer is able to medicate, give subcutaneous fluids and wound treatments. Our home has a secure fenced backyard to run and play. If your dog likes long walks they can join us on our lake walks. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life! Working as a vet tech led me to start my own dog walking/pet sitting service. Relocating to NY a little over a year ago I am pretty much starting from scratch and would love to take care of your furry family members. About my yard Our backyard is perfectly and safely fenced in. We have posted a picture. We also love long walks and hikes. My experience administering medication Absolutely! As well as insulin and subcutaneous fluids if needed. 2 Night Minimum Stay is Required.

Our dogs had the best time! The fenced in yard is secure and gave them a great area to run around and play in. Jen sent a lot of pictures and updates and made us feel really comfortable while our dogs stayed with them. Looking forward to having them watch our dogs again!!

No one is more anxious about leaving their pup with a sitter than I am. But, from the moment we met Jennifer and Matt during our meet and greet, they set my mind at ease. We've used them twice now and both experiences have been wonderful. It's so clear that they really care about giving our Rosie the best possible experience and also making the experience good for us. We love the fact that they only watch one dog at a time which enables them to give our girl tons of attention, cuddling with her and playing with her. From the very beginning, we could see how diligent they were about making sure they understood our pup's routines. They took notes and asked questions and we could tell they were really listening to us. When they noticed our pup's hesitation to go into their backyard during her first stay with them, they came up with a plan to make her more comfortable so she could enjoy the space and they could have more opportunities to play with her. The fact that they spent time thinking about how to make Rosie's stay more comfortable even before she arrived told me so much about how much they care about the dogs they watch. Their communication level was also excellent, very clear and prompt. During the first stay, I told them no amount of photos was too much and they provided plenty of pics that showed me how well our pup was doing. I told Jennifer that one of those photos was, without a doubt, the best I ever got from a dog sitter as it was a pic of her and Rosie spooning on the rug while Rosie slept. For the second visit, I asked only for photos each morning and evening as I knew I would be busy with our daughter's wedding most of the weekend. Once again, they did exactly as I asked. Finally, Jennifer and Matt's house is a perfect set up for pups. Their backyard is VERY securely fenced in and is easily accessed from inside the house. Now that we have found them, I'm sure we'll be using Jennifer and Matt whenever we need someone to watch our pup. We highly, highly recommend them!!
Jen and Matt were absolutely amazing!! Obviously it’s always hard leaving your baby with someone else but they gave her soooo much love and she was so comfortable so fast! They sent lots of pictures and videos every day to reassure me. When I picked her up I could definitely tell she was going to miss them!! Lol. Thanks so much you guys!!

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks We live in Lake Carmel... There are parks and trails and of course the lake. We love to be outdoors and if ok with you, dog parks too. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Unless your dog need to be in a crate at night per your recommendation, they will have free roam of the downstairs. Time I'll spend with your dog The longest period of time away from the house would be 6-8 hours Monday-Wednesday when I work. Some days I go nowhere! I love to stay home!
