I'd like to just be clear that I am located in Askam in Furness, but due to the way I have set my service radius, I appear to live in Windermere. I am still happy to travel for overnight sits, but can only manage drop ins and walks near to Askam in Furness. I've provided lots of care for pets (mainly dogs, cats, rabbits and fish) of friends and family over the years from the odd walk to overnight house sits and have my own 12 year old cat at home. I've been sitting on Rover off and on for a couple of years now. I'm caring, patient and attentive and like plenty of information about your pet before a sit so that I can provide the best care for them. I enjoy being outside and like to spend free time exploring to new places, swimming or paddle boarding.

I provide pet-centred care. I like lots of details from a pet owner on their pet's routines and preferences so that I can try to make sure your pet experiences as little disruption as possible so they feel happy and comfortable with me, and this seems to have worked really well in the past! I'm by no means an expert behaviourist but I think I have a decent grasp of the ways pets communicate and can usually work out what they want/need at the time! I understand that simply not having their owner/parent around can be inherently stressful for some pets, so I do like to stick to established routines where possible and add in extra fun stuff - whether that's a drive or walk to somewhere new for new sights and smells, a trip to pets at home to get a new toy, or a good play session at home! I'll keep in regular contact with you, providing updates, asking questions if I need to, and sending pictures so you know your pet is happy and in good hands!

Jenny looked after Baloo again while I was away. She got on well with my husband, who was still at home but busy at work, hence needing a sitter. Baloo loved Jenny and her cuddles, and was very content with her when I returned. Jenny took really good care of Baloo again and engaged him in stimulating games and walks. She had the measure of the Berner stubbornness too! Jenny was very respectful of our home and left everything in great conditions. I highly recommend Jenny as a dog sitter and would be delighted to use her services again.
Jenny was a super sitter. We did a meet and greet before she looked after Baloo and so we felt confident by the time the stay started that he'd be well treated. Jenny was keen to understand and follow any normal routines and preferences and Baloo enjoyed her cuddles and care. She kept us in touch with how she and Baloo were getting on during the stay, and sent some lovely photos. Jenny was incredibly respectful of our home and it was cleaner when we returned than when we left! I recommend Jenny as a trustworthy and lovely sitter, and will certainly ask her to sit Baloo again. I booked Jennifer to cat sit while I was away and she was amazing! I got lovely updates complete with pictures for each drop in and lots of communication throughout the weekend. Absolutely recommend booking Jennifer if you need a cat sitter!
Jenny has been brilliant with Beau. He is a rescue; a year ago we couldn’t leave him due to separation anxiety. This year, while he has come on a lot, it still time a very patient and skilled dog sitter to keep him relaxed while we were away. Jenny was also so supportive and kind to us, working around a fairly erratic timetable. All I can say is she is brilliant. Thank you Jenny
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience this May Bank Holiday. Jenny and her partner stayed at my home for three days and two nights to look after my 6 months Irish Wolfhound puppy Fionn, and she was absolutely fantastic from start to finish.Fionn and I met her at a nearby location a few weeks before the date of the stay. It was my first time leaving him and she took such incredible care of him, he clearly adored her, which says everything. I was completely at ease the entire time I was away, which isn’t something I take for granted, especially with such a giant breed pup as they can be a lot. I came home to a house that was honestly cleaner than when I moved in which was an unexpected bonus! ( Thanks Jen! ) . Jenny and her partner treated my home with real respect and care. And I have to mention the photo,just wow. The updates were brilliant and the quality of the pictures was genuinely outstanding to say they were only taken on a phone. Some of them honestly look like they belong at Crufts! I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to recommend Jenny to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and all-round exceptional pet sitter. I've already booked her in for a second visit.
Jennifer did a fantastic job caring for my pup during a work trip! I received frequent updates and came home to a happy dog and clean house. She is compassionate and kind in her care for animals, is skilled in handling quirky pet personalities, and takes medical requirements in stride. Schedule
I work locally and mostly remotely but have to go into the office every now and again. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm able to adapt my work day to keep to a pets routine. I'm fit and healthy and enjoy being outdoors so getting out for walks and exercise with a pet is no problem, and I have plenty of time for feeding, cleaning and play time!
