Jennifer took amazing care of Zoey and kept me up to date with her. I felt comfortable with leaving Zoey with Stella, her dog who is so adorable and such a good girl! Jennifer took both of them out to the dog park and kept my girl entertained. I highly recommend Jennifer as a sitter!

Safety, trust & environment

**1. Calm and Consistent Environment: I maintain a regular routine for feeding, walks, and playtime to provide a sense of stability. My home offers a quiet and comfortable space where your dog can retreat if they need to relax. **2. Gentle and Respectful Interaction: I approach every dog with calmness and respect, allowing them to come to me at their own pace. By using a gentle tone and avoiding sudden movements, I help reduce any stress or anxiety. **3. Personalized Comfort Space: Each dog has their own designated area equipped with a comfortable bed, favorite toys, and fresh water. This space provides a familiar and secure spot for them to unwind. **4. Gradual and Positive Introductions: If introducing your dog to my dog Stella or other pets, I do so gradually and with careful supervision. Short, positive interactions help build trust and comfort, with rewards for calm behavior. **5. Supervised Play and Interaction: I always supervise playtime to ensure safe and appropriate interactions. Structured play sessions with engaging toys help manage energy and reduce anxiety. **6. Addressing Fear and Anxiety: I am attentive to any signs of fear or anxiety and work to address them by identifying triggers and offering comfort. Soothing words, gentle petting, and a consistent presence help reassure your dog. I believe in the importance of getting to know your pet before confirming any bookings. To ensure a smooth and comfortable experience for everyone involved, I offer a complimentary meet-and-greet. This allows us to discuss your pet’s needs, preferences, and routines, and gives your pet a chance to get familiar with me in their own environment or owner preferred place of choice. To ensure the best experience for all pets in my care, I do not accept bookings for aggressive dogs. My priority is to create a calm and positive environment, and I believe that this approach benefits both your pet and the other pets in my care.

A typical day

Morning Routine: Morning Walk: Start the day with a refreshing walk around the neighborhood or local park. This is the perfect time for your dog to stretch their legs, sniff around, and get some exercise. We'll follow your dog's preferred pace, whether it's a leisurely stroll or a brisk walk. Breakfast Time: After the walk, it's time for breakfast. I’ll make sure your dog gets their meal as per your instructions, and I'll check their water bowl to ensure it's full and fresh. Midday Activities: Playtime at Home: After breakfast, we'll have some indoor playtime. Whether your dog enjoys tug-of-war, a game of hide and seek, or just some quality cuddle time, I’ll ensure they get plenty of attention and stimulation. Midday Break: A short nap or some quiet time is essential for your dog to recharge. I’ll make sure they have a comfortable spot to relax and feel safe. Fetch and Play: If the weather is nice, we can head outside for a game of fetch. I’ll bring along your dog’s favorite toys and ensure they have a blast running and playing. Afternoon Outing: Dog Park Visit: A visit to the dog park is a great way for your dog to socialize and burn off some energy. I’ll supervise their play, keep an eye out for any potential issues, and make sure they interact with other dogs safely. Cool Down: After the park, we'll take a relaxed walk back home, giving your dog a chance to cool down and enjoy some fresh air. Evening Routine: Dinner Time: I’ll prepare and serve your dog’s evening meal according to your feeding schedule. After dinner, we'll have some quiet time or a gentle walk, depending on your dog’s preference. Evening Play or Cuddles: We can engage in some light play, or if your dog prefers, enjoy some peaceful downtime with belly rubs and cuddles. Final Potty Break: Before settling in for the night, we'll take a final walk or let your dog out for a potty break. Bedtime: Bedtime Routine: I'll ensure your dog is comfortable and settled for the night. Whether they sleep in their bed or another favorite spot, I’ll make sure they’re cozy and content. Additional Notes: I’m committed to following any specific instructions you have regarding your dog’s routine, diet, and behavior. Your dog’s well-being and happiness are my top priorities! Feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need additional information. Looking forward to taking care of your furry friend!
