Animals of all kinds have been my fascination from the start. Friends and neighbours have entrusted to me the care of their babies and pets of all kinds since a very early age, and I have had my own dogs, cats, tortoise, and budgie. Administration of medication and veterinary (as well as human) medical terminology come second nature due to my professional background and upbringing. Over the last 30+ years, I have cared for dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes, ages, and stages of health: maintaining competitive agility and obedience training for some, providing gentle activity and love for older, blind, and deaf sweethearts.... I endeavour to understand their needs and yours when caring for your loved ones. As an independently practicing LMT, I have the flexibility to amend my schedule in order to prioritise individual routines and preferences. My life is centred around the animals in my care to ensure I have plenty of time, energy, and attention for them. A scroll through my photo library will make that evident - a large, varied collection almost entirely of pets I am so grateful to have encountered and love. They remain my daily inspiration, and owners always enjoy an abundance of photos, videos / video chats, and updates (as desired)*, so no one has to feel disconnected when they’re apart. I also recognise the significance of consistency and security for any creature (including humans), so I value any details you provide and strive to honour all requests you might have - don't be hesitant to ask. *daily photos and text updates are always sent. Safety and trust are my primary concern re: your pets and your home and you. Please rest assured that I will maintain the high safety standards and health protocols I was raised (by MD’s) to value. I keep up w current vaccine and preventative recommendations in order to minimise risks to anyone’s health - yours, as a guest in your home or when we meet, as well as for the safety of my own loved ones. Please let me know in advance if you have specific protocols you would like me to implement to support your safety and comfort.

Jennifer was an excellent house sitter and great with our dog. We will certainly use her again.
We haven’t boarded our pooch for many years as we always take her on vacation with us. We needed to fly out for a week’s vacation and were not comfy having her isolated in one room at a boarding facility. I was very nervous having a house/dog sitter, but Jennifer eased our minds as soon as we (and Bailey) met her. She sent us pics and status updates daily as soon as she arrived at our home and was always quick to respond to questions I had throughout the process. Our dog is older and requires lots of supplements/medications. Jennifer not only provided the absolute best care for Bailey, our house was immaculate when we returned home. Bailey was happy to see us return, but she was not stressed/panicked at all, which showed us how relaxed Jennifer made her feel. Jennifer is a true professional - we will definitely utilize her services again now that we know Bailey adores her!
We had Jennifer stay with our dog, Lucy, while we were out of town for Memorial Day weekend. To say she is amazing is an understatement. Our girl has some health issues and requires a very strict schedule of feedings and medication. I could tell Jennifer truly cared for Lucy and did an incredible job with her and her special needs. She sent daily pictures and updates, and our house was cleaner than we left it when we returned. We will definitely be repeat customers!
Jennifer was fantastic with my cat that needs a little more attention. I could tell from the pictures he was happy and anxiety free.
Jennifer did a wonderful job with Lucy and was so great about sending me pics and updates! For the first time I returned home to my dog who was so calm and happy instead of high strung and stressed out. I would highly recommend using Jennifer!
Jennifer is great. My babies really love her and I enjoy getting pictures during their walk and play time. She keeps me informed and looks out for my babies. It’s comforting to know while I’m at work they are getting a little exercise and attention.
