Compassionate care for your pup!
With 10+ years of experience with dogs, I have walked and taken care of pups of all sizes including chihuahua, border collie, husky, hound, pitbull, etc. from my own growing up, walking them as a former employee of Barkly Pets, and pet sitting for friends and their referrals. Let me know if it would be beneficial to get to know your pup prior to a booking and I will be happy to meet! My experience with senior dogs includes the one that I grew up with, my current baby, and one that I had petsat. My compassion for dogs initially heightened with seniors resulting in me empathizing with them and thus, being more attuned to their needs and desires. This extended to dogs of all ages. I have administered oral medication so am able to do so for your fur baby. For injections, I have a background in nursing, so if you demonstrate to me the process for your dog, I will be able to provide their medication this way. I love exercise, so let me know if your dog needs some too and we can be speed-walking/jogging buddies! I can't wait to meet your pup to provide nurturing, compassionate care!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Truly Above and Beyond Care We cannot say enough amazing things about Jen! She went completely above and beyond while house sitting for our dogs, Ren and Quin. From the start, she was incredibly thorough, thoughtful, and attentive to detail. She didn’t just follow instructions — she truly cared about our dogs and their experience. She made sure to check them for ticks, kept us updated, and was very proactive in making sure they were safe and happy. What impressed us the most was her flexibility and dedication. When she realized that the dogs needed a few extra visits, she adjusted her schedule without hesitation. That level of attentiveness and willingness to adapt gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. But the biggest sign of how amazing she is? When we came home, Ren and Quin were happy, relaxed… and honestly didn’t even seem that excited to see us because they had such a great time with her! 😂 That says everything. Jen is someone who genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own, and it shows in every interaction. We feel incredibly lucky to have her as our neighbor and our dog sitter. We would 100% trust her again and recommend her to anyone looking for exceptional care.
Jen was phenomenal with our high-energy dog and took great care of our home! She gave us frequent updates and we knew we could trust that our fur baby was in good hands with her. Jen is super detail oriented, took thorough notes at our meet and greet, and remembered all of our dog’s commands, habits, and routines. Highly recommend her for your dog sitting needs!
Jen took care of our pup and guinea pigs for a second time, and just like the first, she did an incredible job. Her attention to detail is impressive and she truly cares about each and every animal she takes care of. She remembers their funny little quirks and routines and puts us at ease every time! Schedule
I work part-time, so I will be able to walk your dog around lunchtime (hours are flexible) and after 6 pm on weekdays. Let me know if there are other times that you need and I can see if I can accommodate, as my work hours are flexible. I am available on the weekends after 8 am. Regarding pet-sitting and drop-ins in the owner's home, my work is hybrid, so on the two days that I go into the office, usually Tuesday and Wednesday, I would attend to your pup in the early morning, before and after going into the office (9:30 am - 5:30 pm) and sometime in between during my lunch break (hours are flexible).

How do I care for pets in the client's home? First, I allow the pups to sniff my fist to be acquainted to me. Depending on their body language, I give them space or treats/pets. I make sure that I understand the client's home environment so that I can enter/exit rooms/the home while keeping it pet-safe and friendly. I review and re-review the instructions for caring for the pups to make sure I am on top of all of their needs. I play with and walk the pups throughout the day, ensuring that they get their energy out! I make sure that the pups have water and will eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner when it's time!

A typical day
Fun activities I will do with pets that I watch: I will take them on walks around the neighborhood and allow them to sniff to their heart's content while also ensuring that they get the exercise that they need. I may speed walk with them to get energy out, depending on the dog and client requests. At the house, I will play with them with activities their owner has shared that they like, whether that is fetch, tug of war, hide and seek, or playing with toys that stimulate their minds. I'm still a big kid at heart, so I have lots of fun playing with dogs!
