Animal loving family for your pet!
I have had pets since I was a kid (cats, dogs, even rescued a baby squirrel once) and love taking care of them. We've got a 8-year-old pointer mix named Bailey (adopted 2/12/23); and he LOVES playing with other dogs - especially the little ones! He's very friendly and cuddly, but can be timid and anxious around dogs bigger than him due to some traumatic experiences he's had in his past. Bailey got 2 sister kittens, Hazel and Willow, in October, 2025 and is so great with them! They're used to having dogs over and it's so fun to watch them attempt to play. Sometimes I think Willow believes she's a tiny dog herself; she loves playing fetch and trying to get dogs to chase her with her little cat toys! I also have two children, Aurora (17) and Jude (14) who both LOVE animals and help out quite a bit with caring for our furry guests. I keep extra supplies, like bowls, treats, toys, etc., so the only thing you should need to bring is your dog's food and anything from home you think would make them more comfortable. I have 2 extra kennels, one big (36") and one small (24"), but I prefer not to use kennels unless your doggo needs it. You can use my kennels instead of lugging yours around as long as they're available during that stay (their use is on a first-booked first-served basis). We look forward to watching your furry friend!

So thankful for Jen, makes taking a family vacations guilt-free bc our four-legged family member gets a vacation all of her own with other friends! Jen was patient with travel plans and assisted greatly!!

Schedule
I work Monday through Friday from 8-5. Animals boarded during that time will be at my home alone until my children get home from school, but they will get plenty of outside time both before I go to work and after the kids get home. I'm available for pick up and drop off after 5:30 pm.

Safety, trust & environment
I live in my own home with my children in a quiet neighborhood with a decent sized fenced in back yard for animals to play and potty. The streets are quiet with low traffic and great for walks; it's one of our favorite past times! When the weather is nice, we like to leave the back door open so that pups can come and go as they please, and if it's too hot or too cold we make sure they get to go outside whenever they "ask" or at least every one to two hours when we're home. I also have a security camera set up inside my home so that I can check in on our furry friends throughout the day on my office days.

A typical day
Your pup will get lots of cuddles! My daughter LOVES to spoil our furry friends. We go for a minimum of 2 walks per day, but on the weekend we typically take more than that. I also have a good sized back yard that's fenced-in with a 6 ft tall privacy fence. There are also a dogs that live in neighboring yards and all the pups REALLY like to play through the fence, chasing each other up and down the fence line.
