We love to travel and know how stressful it can be to find a safe and reliable dog sitter. We joined Rover in 2024 to help others find a good staycation for their pups, too! We welcome dogs up to ~50 lbs (goldens, doodles, and other family-friendly breeds). Due to insurance restrictions, we cannot accept certain dog breeds (pitbulls, Staffordshire terriers, German shepherds, etc.). We live in a townhouse with a lot of green grass and if your dog likes long walks or runs, we have some great neighborhood paths. 🐾 When your pup stays with us, they get a home away from home-complete with lots of petting, treats (if allowed!), playtime with kids and fresh air.

Leaving Princess for 13 days while we were on vacation was one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make. It was our first time being away from her, and I was very nervous and hesitant. From the very beginning, Jennifer made us feel comfortable and reassured. Jennifer and her family are incredibly caring, patient, and attentive. She sent us daily updates with pictures and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. During the first couple of days, Princess wasn’t eating much, probably because she was confused and adjusting to a new environment. Jennifer handled everything so well, kept us informed every step of the way, and made sure Princess felt safe, loved, and comfortable. By the end of her stay, Princess looked completely at home and happy with Jennifer and her family. It was clear that she was treated like one of their own, and that meant everything to us. I’m beyond grateful for the love and care Jennifer gave Princess. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, compassionate, and truly dedicated to caring for your pet, I wholeheartedly recommend Jennifer. We will definitely book with her again in the future. Jen was so wonderful with communication and made it easy for me to add in an extra night. We can tell Snickers had the best time and is going back again later this week

Schedule
My husband and I both work from home. During the workweek, we request drop-offs before 9:00 am or after 4:00 pm since we may have virtual meetings scheduled throughout the day. We have a super sweet golden retriever who we let out/walk morning, lunchtime, and twice in the evening and take on long walks when the weather is nice. Your doggo will be in good company.
