In my home, safety starts with a secure, pet-proofed environment. Before any pet arrives, I ensure all trash cans are secured, hazards are out of reach,I strictly follow the owner's instructions regarding sleeping arrangements, ensuring they have a dedicated, comfortable space to rest and feel safe.
A typical day
When it comes to cats, I tailor my activities entirely to their unique personality and energy levels. For active or playful cats, I love setting up interactive games that tap into their natural hunting instincts. This includes using wand toys, laser pointers, and rolling balls to get them moving. I also like hiding treats around the house or using puzzle feeders to give them a fun mental challenge. For more reserved or senior cats, 'fun' might just mean a long, relaxing brushing session, gentle chin scratches, or quiet companionship. If a cat is shy, I respect their space and will sit nearby reading a book or working, letting them approach me on their own terms. Above all, I make sure every cat gets plenty of mental enrichment, and dedicated affection so they never feel lonely."
