I have decades of hands-on dog experience, from energetic puppies to seniors who need a gentler pace (and lots of meds!). I host only one dog/dog family at a time, so your pup gets calm, focused, one-on-one care without the stress of other animals. Because I work from home, your dog will have consistent attention, supervision, and flexibility throughout the day. I’m comfortable with a wide range of personalities and routines. I enjoy helping each dog feel safe and happy. For the first time in twenty years, I don’t have my own dogs, and am looking forward to caring for your dog as if they were my own. Being a Rover has really filled the gap for me and I am loving meeting all different dog types, and personalities. Aside from experience with my own dogs, I have dog sat for friends and family, and volunteered with rescues, so I’m experienced, patient, and intuitive with all types of dogs.

Boarding with Jennifer was a great experience from start to finish. She was able to accommodate my extremely short notice and honestly saved the day for my vacation! She was responsive and made me feel like she had a good handle on my pit bull / staffy mix. My dog usually meets new people with her tail between her legs, but she was happy to meet Jennifer and even more excited to see her again when I dropped her off! Jennifer also showed me around her home during our meet and greed, which made me feel very comfortable about where my dog would be staying. I got the sense that Jennifer genuinely enjoyed having her, and it felt like my dog was on her own little vacation while I was away. I'll absolutely book with Jennifer again.
Skip had a great staycation! I can always tell by how excited he is to go to her house, she was great with him.

Jenny did a wonderful job again taking care of my girl when I was gone for a work trip. She is so kind, caring, and thoughtful. I really appreciated the daily updates and photos, and I was supremely confident that Bernie was getting the best care possible and enjoying her time away.
Jenny took care of my sweet Chloe perfectly! I was gone for a week and she shared with me updates daily and that is what I needed while being away. After I picked her up, Chloe acted like herself and that tells me everything went well. Sometimes after I picked up Chloe from other sitters she acted a little off, but she acted like herself after staying with Jenny. I would recommend Jenny and would use her again!
Amazing! Our Nala had a great time and we will defintely rebook with Jennifer again soon!!

I am easily able to follow your dog’s normal routine, whether that’s regular potty breaks, walks, medications, or simply lots of pets throughout the day.

My goal is for you to feel comfortable knowing your dog is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. I have a dog friendly home and a large, fully fenced yard for exploring and games of fetch. Because I don’t currently have other pets, your dog won’t need to adjust to new animals and will get my undivided attention in a calm, low stress environment.
A typical day
I’m active and love getting outside, and walks are built into my daily routine, ranging from quick neighborhood walks to longer journeys or hikes. I’d love to take your dog along, depending on their energy level. For social dogs, I’m happy to include them in dog-friendly outings and adventures. For dogs who prefer to relax, I have several couches, beds, an other cozy places for them to chill.
