Hi, I’m Jenna! I'm a lifelong animal lover with a strong background in professional pet care. Before pursuing my dream of living in Washington, I owned and operated a successful pet sitting and boarding business in Alabama, where I cared for hundreds of beloved cats and dogs as if they were my own. Including care for many different senior and special needs animals. I love my pets like they are family, because they are. And believe pets deserve love and care and respect. I have personal experience with owning and caring for many different kinds of animals: dogs, cats, fish, chickens, snakes, hamsters, guinea pigs and lizards.

Jennifer has a strong background in caring for animals and we highly recommend her based on our experience. She did a fantastic job caring for our dog for more than a week and was flexible enough to show up later in day to fit our schedule. She is reliable for in-home visits, and we would certainly want to use her again when there is a need for pet care.
Jenna took great care of my German Shepherd and Siberian Husky while housesitting for a long ten-day stretch. I did not worry about them at all because I knew that they were in great hands. Jenna also sent me pictures and updates and always responded to any questions I had. I would hire Jenna again.
I would highly recommend Jennifer. Our Truffle seemed to really enjoy her.

Schedule
Pet care is my daily routine, and my pet care business is my career. That means I’m home almost day, only leaving for quick errands or to do drop in visits for other clients. And that I’m able to give your pets the consistent love, presence, and structure they need. My flexible schedule allows for plenty of potty breaks, enrichment, playtime, and snuggles. Whether your pets need a calm, steady presence or a playmate to match their energy, I will be there to give them exactly what they need!

For pet care in my home: You can expect plenty of love, attention, and a safe, comfortable environment while your pet is in my care. I’ll send you a daily photo or video update, and you’ll be contacted right away if I notice any concerns or changes in your pet’s behavior or health. Pups get plenty of supervised outdoor time in my fully fenced backyard, and I never leave them outside unattended. And cats will be able to have access to an entire cat only play room all to themselves to feel safe and comfortable in. If your pet enjoys having a furry friend around, they’re welcome to play with my dog or cat! For everyone’s safety, I always feed pets separately. I provide toys, food and water bowls, and everything they need for a comfortable stay, but you’re always welcome to bring their favorite toys or treats from home. Most importantly, I follow your pet’s routines, boundaries, and house rules. My pets are welcome to sleep in bed with me, so if your pet is used to sleeping with their people, the more the merrier! For my housesitting clients: I treat every home I enter with the same respect and care I would want someone to show my own home. Cleanliness, safety, and communication are my top priorities. You can expect your home to be kept tidy and left just as you found it. I carefully follow all house rules and your pet’s routines, including feeding instructions, medication, and individual preferences. My goal is to make your pets feel comfortable and cared for while giving you peace of mind that both your pets and your home are in good hands.

A typical day
You can expect an update with pictures or even videos every day. I love getting to know each pet’s personality and finding the little things that light them up! Fetch and tug of war are favorites with dogs, and with cats, I adore bringing out the rainbow flutter wand and watching them chase and pounce. Cuddle time is a must too! Being curled up on the couch with a warm, happy animal is one of life’s purest joys. For Boarders: I also enjoy watching my own pets gently interact and play with client pets. My senior dog and mellow cat are incredibly patient and have often helped bring shy or anxious animals out of their shells. It’s a beautiful thing to witness, and it brings even more joy and companionship to our day.
