I've loved dogs since childhood and dedicated the past 20 yrs to studying their psychology, behavior, learning how to communicate best with them and teaching their humans to as well. I became a professional force free dog trainer in 2003. I studied for 2 years prior while managing the 1st dog daycare in Houston. I named my own company Spoiled Good Dog Training based on my philosophy that a truly spoiled dog is a dog who has mutual trust, understanding and respect with their humans. Trained dogs know what’s expected of them in various "human" situations and owners who train learn to communicate with their canine companions. So both can enjoy a happier more well-rounded life together. My home is very dog friendly and they are allowed on my furniture unless you don't want them to. I’m not a trainer who believes your dog shouldn’t sleep in the bed with you if that’s what you wish. We can spoil our dogs while also teaching them to be well behaved by implementing postive science-based training methods. I semi-retired from training a year ago and now work from home for myself and as a writer for an internet marketing company. But dogs are still my passion! I have a good sized fully fenced back yard that's double gated like at a dog park. It's very secure. My house has an open floor plan that gives them space to play while I can always keep an eye on them. I have 2 very spoiled but equally good and well-socialized fur babies. Pixie is a medium-size mutt who’s 7 yrs old and Goose is an 9 yr old German Shorthair Pointer. Both of them grew up and have lived their whole lives with many other dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages and temperaments around them. I ran a board & train business full time in my home as well as a daycare on weekdays. I was also a senior dog trainer at Petco where they attended socials, lessons and classes as my "demo dogs". Pixie & Goose are particularly gentle with small dogs and puppies. If you have a puppy that could use some mental and physical exercise, socialization and positive training reinforcement or an older dog that just wants to get lots of cuddles and attention or anything in between – I’m your gal!

We are so grateful to have found Jenn on Rover! She has taken care of our two dogs, Sachi and Stella, multiple times, and each experience has been fantastic. From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she genuinely loves and understands dogs. Jenn goes above and beyond to make sure our pups feel comfortable, loved, and engaged while we’re away. She keeps us constantly updated with thoughtful messages and tons of pictures, which gives us complete peace of mind. It’s clear that Sachi and Stella have a great time with her as they come home happy, and calm, which is a testament to the care they receive. She treats our dogs like her own, taking the time to play with them and keeping them mentally and physically stimulated. Jen is the BEST! I started bringing my dog Remi to her when he was only a few months old, as I’m a nurse and work long hours. Remi has been going to Jen for several years now and he gets SO excited every time we pull up to her house! Jen is very communicative and is great at sending pictures and keeping me updated on how he’s doing while I’m at work. She’s very patient with my overly energetic boy and he always comes home happy and ready for a long nap after a full day of entertainment. I highly recommend Jen if you need a dog sitter for your fur baby!
Any time I go out of town, there is no doubt in my mind that my pup is loved on and spoiled! Any time my pup has needed extra attention, Jennifer makes sure she is taken care of and is so wonderful about communicating with me. Jennifer is the BEST and I am so grateful we found someone we can truly trust.
Jennifer is amazing! I have been using her as a dog sitter for my pup Lottie since February and she is truly one of my dog’s favorite people! She treats Lottie with love and care and always shares wonderful photos/videos with me on a regular basis! Highly recommend using her for any dog sitting and I will continue to do so in the future!

A typical day
Although I have a fenced in yard, I enjoy taking the dogs for a walk around the park across the street from my house every morning. I also load them all up in the Spoiled Good Dog Mobile every evening and either go to one of the many dog parks or parks in the area for another walk. There's so much green space and we really love exploring different parks each day. Some of the parks we frequently go to are EaDog, Mason, Fonde dog park, Tony Marron, Danny Jackson & Johnny Steele dog parks, Allen Parkway, Discovery Green, Herman Park, and Memorial Park, among others. On weekends we also enjoy walking the dogs in Freeport & Galveston.
