Hi there! My name is Jen. I've had pets all my life and couldn't imagine not having my four legged family companions by my side today. I am available to look after any type of pet in your home or mine, whatever works best for you and your pet. Over the years I have raised a puppy and took in an anxious rescue dog with separation issues so am familiar with the experiences involved in both of these situations. My dogs are treated like the family members they are and you can be assured that I will treat yours the same way. I always make sure the animals I take care of get the best care and are always physically and mentally stimulated throughout the day with downtime for resting. I have plenty of puzzle toys, 20 foot tie out run outside, lick mats, toys, sandbox to dig, agility equipment, conservation area nearby for walking and exploring, etc. Please contact me if you are interested in meeting!

Jen, was accommodating, communicative and friendly. The dogs were comfortable with her right away, and seemed happy and content when we came home from our time away. She shared pictures and details of their walk and dining experience.

Beatrice had an amazing time staying with Jennifer and Alex! She has stayed in a number of places over the years, but her experience with Jennifer and Alex was by far the best. What made her stay so special was the love, attention, and care Beatrice received. It was so nice knowing she wasn’t just being boarded, but was staying in a warm, comfortable home where she could relax and be part of the family. Jennifer kept us updated with photos and messages, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Beatrice came home happy, relaxed, and clearly loved her time with them. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend Jennifer and Alex to anyone looking for a wonderful, caring home for their dog. We will definitely be booking with them again!
Great experience. I had never used a service like this before and was skeptical, but we trusted the reviews and we're very happy. Jennifer was able to help us feed our cats while we were away for a few days since we had no other family or friends in the area. Keeping the cats at home really put our minds at ease, knowing they're at least in a comfortable environment. We will be a returning customer in the future.
Jennifer was great. Stayed at my home overnight for a week with my Bernese Mountain dog. Was in contact with me every day and sent lots of pictures. I could tell she treated my dog Higgins well because he was not out of sorts in any way when we arrived home. We highly recommend her.
She was awesome, I needed someone to pill my anxious mess of a cat while I was out of town, and she actually managed to do it, both times, which is no small feat! I would definitely recommend her, and will be using her services again.

Safety, trust & environment
I offer overnight care in my home. Your pet will be treated as my own. I have a medium sized yard for playtime for pups that includes a sandbox and also have some agility equipment as well. I also do daily walks at the conservation area near my house. If preferred I can provide care in your home as well. Please reach out and we can work out any details.
Pets
A typical day
A typical day for dogs would include going for walks around different locations such as Mac Johnson conservation area which is only a few mins away from me. We would also spend time out in the backyard playing - I have a sandbox for digging and agility equipment as well. I like to mentally and physically stimulate dogs so other activities include playing fetch, tug, etc. I also like to hide treats around and have the dog find them. I use stuffed kongs, lick mats, etc.
