10/10 recommend Jennifer. This was our first time using rover and booking with a dog sitter for our doodle that wasn’t a family member. She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease. Her home is set up comfortable for our dog to roam around, doggy door to go potty, fenced in yard, and lounge on the couch, which he loves. She is attentive to the dogs and made sure he was comfortable and settled in. Sent us daily updates along with some pictures and videos.

She was wonderful! This was my first time using the app and first time leaving my puppy with someone other than family. She answered all my questions and kept me updated every day. I will definitely use her again!

Jennifer was truly a blessing. She agreed to take Wesley at the very last minute, and I honestly can’t express how much that meant to me. From the moment I met her, I felt a sense of calm. She was warm, attentive, and clearly comfortable caring for larger dogs. Wesley is a 100 lb Weimaraner, and leaving him isn’t something I take lightly. Jennifer made it easy. She kept me updated and treated him with patience and kindness. When I picked him up, he was relaxed and well cared for, which told me everything I needed to know. I’m sincerely grateful for her flexibility and the care she showed my big baby. I would absolutely trust her with him again.

Schedule

I work full-time from home, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most of the day and able to provide plenty of supervision, attention, playtime, and potty breaks. My own dog has lots of toys, a dog pool, and plenty of space to relax and play—and visiting dogs seem to settle in and enjoy themselves quickly!

Safety, trust & environment

Safety is always a priority in my home. I use multiple baby gates throughout the house when needed to help keep visiting dogs safe, comfortable, and separated when appropriate. Dogs are welcome on the furniture and have access to my home and fully fenced backyard, allowing them plenty of freedom to relax, explore, and go outside throughout the day. Because I work from home, I’m almost always here to supervise, provide attention, and keep everyone comfortable. My home is calm and low-key — most days consist of work, TV, reading, time on the treadmill, and an occasional quick trip to the store. My goal is to provide a safe, peaceful home-away-from-home where your dog can settle in and feel comfortable.

Pets

A typical day

There’s plenty to do here! I have lots of dog toys and usually a few playful pups ready for some fun. Depending on what your dog enjoys, our days may include fetch, balls, frisbees, snuffle mats with treats, and even a dog pool for splashing around. For dogs who prefer to take it easy, there’s also plenty of time for lounging. I have a comfortable outdoor couch on the covered back porch, perfect for relaxing, napping, and watching the other dogs play. Every dog is different, so they’re free to be as active — or as lazy — as they’d like!

I’d love to know about your dog’s personality, including how they interact with both people and other dogs, as well as any medical conditions, medications, special needs, or behavioral quirks I should be aware of. Please also let me know whether your dog is spayed or neutered so I can make sure they’re a good fit for my home and the other dogs in my care.
