Pet care experience

Frequent walks and lots of snuggles

I am a quiet, reliable, responsible, health-care worker who is a major animal lover. I adore animals of all kinds, and enjoy spending time helping out friends - old and new - with their pets and homes. My experience with pet sitting includes both paid and volunteer sits, mostly locally in the Pacific NW. As I wind down my career, it frees up my time to take care of pets. When I’m not pet sitting/housesitting, I live with my husband in Vancouver, WA. We have a senior dog, so my husband stays home with her while I am house/pet sitting. As a healthcare provider, I am CPR and first aid certified, and have expertise with caring for pets with special needs. Maintaining a clean and tidy living environment is important to me. I am handy around the house, and yard. I love to spend time outside: walking, hiking, photography, gardening, enjoying nature and the animals in it. I would love to do a video chat or meet and greet (if you'd like) to get to know you better (and vice versa), and learn more about what makes your pet happy.

Safety, trust & environment

I am reliable, punctual, and responsive to pet-owner’s needs. Since I do still work part-time, I communicate with pet owners which days I am working during the stay (if any) and how I plan to manage the pet care during that time; such as walking pets during my lunchtime, if needed.
