Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I work during the day, so I'm available most weekdays after 4:00 PM for evening walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and medication administration if needed. I'm also available on many weekends and can often accommodate morning, afternoon, or evening visits.

Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover who has been surrounded by cats my entire life. Caring for animals has always been a big part of who I am, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality. I have experience dog sitting for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior dogs. I'm also comfortable caring for pets with special needs, including administering medications and following detailed care instructions to keep them happy, healthy, and comfortable while you're away. As an educator, I've also cared for classroom pets throughout my career, including fish and reptiles. In addition, I have experience caring for pet birds. Because of this, I'm comfortable caring for a wide variety of animals—not just dogs and cats. Whether your family includes a playful puppy, an independent cat or birds! I'll make sure they receive attentive, compassionate care. I'm dependable, patient, and have plenty of energy for long walks, playtime, and keeping active pets engaged. Jennie took wonderful care of my two lovebirds, on short notice, for 3 days. She maintained their feeding and sleep schedules with twice-daily visits, taking special care with one of them, which had a terminal flight and perching debility. Since then, while introducing her to a new, baby bird, outside of the cage, Jennie demonstrated a natural ability to gain the bird's trust and comfort. The bird was flying to Jennie and perching on her hand almost immediately. At that time, I was able to show her how to supervise the birds' time out of the cage and get them back in. For the birds' safety, there are few people I would trust with doing that in my absence. Jennie is certainly one of them. I will be hoping that she's available to care for them whenever I must leave, again.
