Dogs who frequently bark would not be a good fit for us. Also, I don’t have a fenced-in yard, so threshold control and comfort with pottying in a leashed environment are important considerations.
A typical day
A typical day includes at least one walk - some walks are exclusively for sniffing and others are for exercise - lots of potty breaks, pets, snuggles and cookies.

Pet care experience
I believe dogs are a gift to all of us and should therefore be spoiled rotten! I’ve had my lab since he was a pup and he’s highly trained and well-behaved. And yes, the king of the castle.
