Animal loving home from home for your pets
Hi! I’m Jennie — a friendly, reliable dog lover based in Hamble. I’ve had pets in my life since I was 4 years old, and dogs have always been a huge part of my world. Until last August, I had my own dog Lola, a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel, who was with me for 14 wonderful years. She was truly part of the family, and caring for her throughout every life stage gave me a deep understanding of what dogs need — from energetic younger years to the slower pace and extra TLC that comes with ageing. I live in Hamble with my partner Adam and my son Dexter (6). Both are very used to being around dogs and love having them in the house. Our home is calm, welcoming and dog-friendly, and I’ll always make sure your dog feels safe, settled and loved. A home-from-home (with plenty of company) I work from home, which means your dog will never be left alone for long periods and will have lots of companionship throughout the day — whether that’s cuddles, playtime, or simply having someone nearby for reassurance. Safe outdoor space We also have a large, secure garden with high fencing, so your dog can enjoy safe outdoor time throughout the day (always supervised), whether that’s for play, fresh air, or relaxing in the sunshine. Brilliant walks right on the doorstep We’re lucky to live right on the edge of several large green spaces, perfect for daily dog walks. I tailor walks to each dog’s needs and energy levels — from gentle sniffy strolls to longer, more active adventures. Puppy-friendly + training support I’ve raised a puppy myself and have experience with: * Leash training * Crate training * Supporting routines and basic commands So if your dog is still young, I’m happy to reinforce the training you’re already working on at home (consistency makes all the difference!). Updates you can count on I know how hard it can be leaving your dog with someone new, so I’ll always send regular updates, photos and videos to help you feel completely at ease. Important note Because we have a child in the home, I’m not able to accept bookings for dogs who have a known history of nipping or biting. If you think we’d be a good match, I’d love to arrange a meet & greet so you can feel totally comfortable before booking. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog!

Ratings and reviews
Jennie was brilliant. Her communication was excellent throughout, she took great care of Max and Cara and they arrived home very happy and relaxed, which says it all. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended!

Excellent service provided. Norman was well cared for had a lot of adventures and receiving a postcard from ‘him’ was super special during our holiday. Communication is top notch and I’m more than happy to leave him with Jennie.

Jennie took Baxter on short notice during a massive heatwave, and it was our first time away from him. We got daily pictures and videos of Baxter out on his trips with Jennie and Dexter, and he seemed to absolutely love his time there. Baxter has already asked when he can revisit. I'd highly recommend her.

Felt very happy to leave our little boy Norman with Jennie. Lovely home environment and obviously love dogs. Communicated during the day to keep us up to date with how he was doing so we feel very happy and confident leaving him with her for our holidays going forward.

Jenni and her family were amazing with our girl Narla. Couldn't ask for better.

Jennie was great with our dog and cat, they had a great time and we got regular updates. Would definitely recommend!

Schedule
I work from home so your dog will have plenty of company and will typically accompany me on the school run and pick up as well as a lunchtime walk. I may need to occasionally pop out so your dog does need to be comfortable being on their own for short periods of time.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a high fenced secure private garden. Inside our home is also secure with plenty of comfy soft places for your dog to snooze.
A typical day
A typical day would start with an early walk (via the school run) and head straight into queen Victoria country park where there are lots of lovely smells and trails. We would always get out for a lunchtime walk, either to Hamble common or the airfield and then a final short walk in the afternoon via the school pick up which is next to the country park. In between there would be plenty of company, access to the garden and cuddles if your dog is that way inclined.
