This was a very unpleasant experience. Jennica’s house isn’t well kept at all. The cleanliness is nonexistent. Upon arrival from what I could see had me a bit uneasy about my puppies stay. However she seemed pleasant. At the time of drop off she states “If you want to know how he’s doing just text me and I’ll send you a picture. But when boarding with rover that is supposed to be something the boarder automatically does. So I wrote her and requested for random photos but often I had to initiate inquiries on my puppy’s well being. I explained to her that he was a very good dog as well as friendly. Through out his stay when I would get updated on him she would say he was doing great via text. But I call and video chat she wouldn’t answer nor return the calls. One time she told me I could call back and I still didnt receive a response from her. When she started sending photos in her home I could really see how unclean her home was carpet, doors with damage, etc. I literally checked in throughout the days because I was so worried on my trip about my pup. She is a scam! The last day as I was boarding my plan to return home. I received picture mail of very unclean steps carpet pulled up, unclean sofa with holes in it , and a dog bed torn up. And she says have I considered trimming his nails as if he caused this damage. Instantly I responded and told her “That isn’t from my pup”. She then says he attacked her roommate and sent old text messages her and someone made up together. My pup is a house dog, wonders home on his own, and wouldn’t even hurt a fly. Not to mention he is crate train, follows commands, and house trained. He’s a rescue puppy & he is literally so sweet and very timid. As I continued to tell her “good game wrong player” once she knew I was on to her the pursuit of this scam disappeared. When I arrived to pick him up she says “Actually he’s a really good dog it’s just his nails”. So my dog supposedly ruined your home and attacked your roommate but he’s a really good dog? But that was in hopes to stop me from writing this review. I’ve used rover and had wonderful experiences , I mean my 11 month pup is loved so much one person told me that even if he grows to exceed her weight limit she would still board him. Also in the made up messages between her and her roommate she overall stated that they aren’t even supposed to have dogs on this property only cats. As I got settled in home with my pup I noticed his eye is red and nipped at the top. I sent pictures and inquired on this but yet no response. This woman should not be able to board any longer. I feel as if my dog was treated extremely poorly with Jennica. Writing this review is a must for me because as a dog mom we want our dogs to be safe. If I had to rate this experience with Jennica on a scale for 1-10 it would be a negative -100 and yes I said negative one hundred. My dog was scared to get in the car and we had to show him over the top love . I feel this was a traumatic experience for both my family and our puppy. And he still had a bag two bags of food left in his luggage back when we got home.I strongly do not recommend boarding with Jennica.
