My sole profession is animal care. This is not a side gig for me. 100% of my professional time goes to training and pet sitting. That said, please be advised that when I board your dog they will be alone for up to 2 hours at a time while I tend to house calls. Accurate scheduling of pick up and drop off times are crucial to keep everyone on schedule.

The Rover system prevents your ability to book puppy boarding with me as it will tell you that I do not accept unfixed dogs for boarding. I do not accept ADULT unfixed dogs for boarding, puppies are welcomed. For a work around, request me for a drop in visit and we will sort out the details at our meet and greet. This seems to be the only reasonable solution at the moment. Cat boarding is limited to kittens. For adult cat care I will come to you 😻 *I offer dog pick up and drop off ($30 round trip) within 7 miles of Gibson and 215 **Key pick up, if needed, is included with the one time meet and greet, thereafter key p/u, drop off is $10. Or you can bring the key to my house if you prefer.

I do not accept dogs who have any history of reactivity or aggression towards people or other animals, or destructive tendencies. For boarding with me, must be house broken unless pet is a puppy actively potty training with crate. Puppy care is an upcharge. At this time I do not accept Rottweilers or Doberman Pinschers, not because I don't love them, but because my experience is that they are not fond of people outside their inner circle and this has caused me a bit of trauma. **I hate that I have to say this but here goes. Please don't hire me to tend to your dog unless you are working (or home officing), out of town, debilitated or elderly... When I walk into a home and there is someone camped out on the couch gaming or snoozing the day away, it's just a weird dynamic and I don't prefer it. I really want my services to go that those who truly need me. Thank you for understanding.

Walks if customary in your dogs daily routine, enrichment activities, fetch, lots of fun toys to choose from, socializing with other dogs on premises, snuggles and lots of attention.

I am a retired service dog trainer and have been a professional pet sitter for 10+ years. I own my own pet care company and I offer this information to you to as evidence of my commitment to consistency, excellence and high value service. I love animals of all types and can help with care whether you're away on a day trip, are a professional who works long hours and need pet care on an ongoing basis, or are off on vacation. I am dependable and experienced. I have an active playful household, boredom will not be a factor for your pooches. In addition to boarding in my home, I also offer pet care in your home and am open (and experienced) to exotic pets as well. I allow free play in my backyard and am happy to walk your dog when in my care if that is routine for them. I get frequent inquiries as to whether I will combine training services with boarding. My training service is offered separately and not in conjunction with short term stays.
